Beautiful Hotel!

This was a good place. Clean everywhere, including the room, lobby, breakfast area, fitness center, and parking lot. Jocelyn checked us in, (and out the next morning) She was friendly (and very cute!) Breakfast included cheese omelettes, toast, pancakes, oatmeal, link sausage, boiled eggs, bagels and cold cereal. We would return.

I was really looking forward to staying at this property. I stayed numerous times at its sister property, Hilton Garden Inn, next door. I thought I would give it a try since it was recently opened. What I enjoyed: the lobby has fresh colors, many places to lounge, nice fitness center, pool table in lobby, and the ice machine/water bottle refill station that is centrally located. The drawbacks: the walls weren’t as soundproof as the Hilton Garden next door, there’s no pool, and it sits at the end of the crosswind runway which is active between 9pm until about 7am. It’s extremely loud and challenging to sleep through. It may be different on a lower floor. Would I stay again? Absolutely, but only with earplugs and a sound machine. There were so many enjoyable things to not stay there again.

My recent stay at the Tru by Hilton in Kansas City was a consistent experience, aligning with the brand's established standards. The property was well-maintained, with clean and organized public areas and guest rooms. The in-room amenities were satisfactory, fulfilling basic travel needs. The heating and cooling system operated efficiently, and the bedding provided a comfortable night's rest.

Outstanding hotel for that short stay before or after a flight. They have great breakfast options. The common area has televisions, pool table, games, free WiFi, packaged food and drinks for purchase and coffee and tea always available for free. The gym is good but small. The room was on the smaller size but comfortable. As I indicated it is a good short stay hotel. The room had a mini fridge but not a microwave. There is one available to use in the common area. They have a free shuttle to the airport.
