The place is absolutely wonderful and the hotel & premises are very nicely kept. One thing that can be a minus (a first "but") or a plus for some is its remoteness. It is good as long as you do not need any basic supplies (the closest village/store is 25 minutes drive and be aware of the 12:30 - 4:30 closing time of most stores in that region). To start with the hotel, the rooms we got (superior double) were really nice, with see view, clean and a very large terrace. Bathroom is spacious and modern. Restaurant: food is very good both breakfast (self serve with a decent amount of options) and dinner, and here comes the second "but"; most of the waiters are suddenly not that enthusiastic once they realize you do not speak Italian. The prices are decent, was actually surprised of the relatively (compared to other hotels) low cost for a very good selection of wines (around 20 EUR a bottle). Beach/pool : Not sure why the north beach is advertised as "sandy" as opposed to south one, both looked pretty similar to me, and the sand is not the main component :-) (but there is some sand). Otherwise very nice, private, sunbeds and umbrellas included in the room price, the staff there is actually nice regardless what language you speak, including the beach bartender. The beach bar is a convenient place to have lunch, mostly sandwiches. salads and grill. It is good to know that after 3:00 PM there is only very little sun on the north beach (being surrounded by high cliffs) There is a 5 floor elevator (or stairs) to get down to the beach. Pool area was strangely empty during the day.
