The hotel is very new. We stayed in a lake view bungalow (two beds + tatami mats). You need to take the trolley yourself and return your luggage to the designated location on the first floor. It is strange that guests need to pay for parking (500 yen per day, the ticket must be presented to the counter for magnetization) The public bath on the top floor is good, the facilities are very new, the space is large, the view is good, and the temperature is moderate. We like the casual clothes provided in the room (not a yukata, just a black top + pants), which can be worn to bathe or sleep in It is comfortable, but it cannot be worn in the public areas on the first floor and the restaurant on the second floor. We stayed during the Christmas period. There was only a buffet restaurant to choose from. The breakfast was very good. The menu options were not very large but the dishes were exquisite and delicious. It should be noted that there are very few restaurants around the hotel. If you stay here, you don’t want to eat expensive food on the second floor. Buffet restaurant, it is best to finish your meal during the trip and then return to the hotel.

There is a direct bus from Izumo Airport. Arrive at Anadoko Onsen Station. Walk 100 meters past the hotel. The decoration style of the lobby retains the feeling of the Showa era. I like it very much. The location is excellent, which is exact as the name across Matsue station. The staff from the front desk are very nice. You can pick up some daily necessities near the front desk (e.g. toothbrush, comb, teabags). I can open a 30 inch luggage and still have reasonable space in my room. The public bath is a bit small but cosy. It is worth to give a try if you wish to stay in Matsue overnight.
