Kassapa Lion's Rock is the perfect getaway for nature lovers and adventure seekers alike. Nestled in a stunning location with breathtaking views of Sigiriya Rock, it offers an ideal setting for bird watching and peaceful relaxation. The food is absolutely delicious, with a great variety of local and international dishes, and the staff go above and beyond to make you feel welcome.

The accommodation are clusters of buildings set in extensive grounds with pool and views to Sigiriya. Booked by our SL tour company for 2 nights. The restaurant is a lovely open air space with a changing buffet. Of all our hotels this had the widest range of SL food which was great to try out. The restaurant staff provided excellent service which was friendly and attentive if required.

The hotel was very nice and peaceful. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Staff was nice and friendly espcially Lalantha who was the best of all with very good service and beautiful smile. He was always there for us. Food was tasty and varied.

Arrived at this beautiful hotel. So many trees and beautiful plants. Stayed in the cabins surrounded by lovely trees and greenery. Two swimming pools to relax and swim at. Buffet breakfast each morning, plenty to choose from. Service was fantastic especially from Lalantha and Bawantha who went out of their way to make me feel at home. Recommend this beautiful hotel to come and enjoy. Thank you Lalantha and Bawantha for looking after me

I'm very satisfied with the facilities of the hotel such as the room, pool area. The service is excellent when it comes to front office area, dining area. In terms of food, it is reasonably good as per the rate but I would say not much choice for people who prefer seafood. I would say it would have been nice if we could get the opportunity to try out cuttlefish, prawns, fish dishes. But if you prefer meat, then there are many choices on offer. Another setback I saw during our stay is that when hoppers (one of Sri Lanka's demanding cuisines) were served, egg hoppers were not on offer. Overall, Kassapa Lion Rock Hotel is a good place to spend your holiday

We stayed for 4 nights and found the hotel to be very nice. There is a very nice pool which is good for relaxing after busy days touring. The buffet food was good with a good choice of local and European food for dinner. Breakfast was ok and could do with more choice and better coffee. The rooms are large and comfy. There is water and a kettle in the room. Overall we would stay here again.
