B&B Vanessa House

We recently stayed at this absolutely lovely B&B Vanessa House and I tell you, the accommodations and this family, were the BEST!! The house feels very inviting and warm, with its beautiful property and lovely breakfast by the pool to start each day. Our room was nice and spacious, equipped with amenities. It is a GREAT place to stay, free from crowded tourist areas, and not to mention the location is easy access to take a short bus ride to boats, food, and LOTS of shopping into Venice. This was a perfect place for us to stay! It was the Right PRICE, Very CLEAN, and Great BREAKFAST. Thank you, Elena, Moreno, & Vanessa for being EXCEPTIONAL HOSTS. We highly recommend the B&B Vanessa House to anyone planning to visit Venice! Overall, our trip here was definitely highlighted by our stay at this B&B. We would have liked to stay longer……..but surely hope to come back! TommieO

This is our 3rd time staying at Vanessa house. This time was even better. I believe our bed was upgraded. We were very comfortable. Elena is the hostess with the " mostess" So cheerful and accommodating Excellent variey of food for breakfast with choice of how you like your coffee. For us, The Vanessa House is the best place to stay near Venice.

I am a travel agent in the USA and I have sent several people to Vanessa House and I must say it has always made me look good. The clients LOVED staying there. I will surely use them again and again.

A return stay for two weeks of rest and relaxation at this home-from-home of a B&B. As far as the hosts, Elena & Moreno, are concerned, nothing is too much trouble. Your comfort and satisfaction are their top priority when they welcome you to their B&B, ensuring you have everything you may need during your stay. The rooms are cleaned every day, as is the pool; most welcome after a hot day of sight-seeing. A bountiful breakfast is served every morning, with Elena on hand to help with directions, bus and ticketing info (a bus stop is less than a two minute walk) and any other tourist-related advice you might need. Although located on a pleasant, quiet tree-lined street, there are plenty of amenities close by: a pharmacy, supermarket, newsagent, gelateria and pasticceria all within walking distance. There are also several good restaurants nearby (one reachable on foot: 10 minutes away) and there are good public transport links (local bus stop, railway station at nearby Maerne or the local hospital) to take you to Venice and beyond. As you can see from previous reviews, we have returned to Vanessa House on numerous occasions and for good reason: Elena and Moreno are the kindest, most hospitable and attentive hosts you could hope for, which is borne out by other reviewers. If you are planning a trip to Venice and/or surrounding areas, a stay here is highly recommended.

Perfect and quiet location, perfect hosts and perfect accommodation. We stayed for a week as a base for Venice and surrounding areas. The pool area is another massive plus for this small b&b. We couldn't have chosen better tbh, the 5E bus (only before 10am I think) takes you straight to Venice in 40 minutes through Mestre, but Mestre itself is also beautiful for a walk round so if you do have to change its no hardship, and buses onto Venice are every 15 minutes anyway. We bought a weekly pass on the avm app and just hopped on and off all week and it took us to the airport on the way home. We couldn't have chosen better.

We got such a lovely warm welcome from Nicolas. So helpful and friendly! A beautiful house with a lovely family. We really appreciated being able to just chill out at their lovely pool for the day after visiting beautiful Venice. A lovely end to our holiday, felt like we had our own villa. Highly recommended this b and b. Gorgeous spread for breakfast too! Only 15 minutes on the bus from lovely mestre. Lovely take away pizza place nearby called Pomodoro.
