Sun Apartments

To be honest. The same year I stayed in the Costa mare. This hotel isn't all inclusive. However the atmosphere was really good, drinks prices were reasonable around £2.80. the staff were loving life. I'v booked again for this year as I enjoyed the atmosphere, the main center is about a 10 min walk. I'v been in t 5 stars in turkey, I just found the atmosphere not as good. Like I said if you wanted a change of scenery, you can come and go anytime. I will say the pool area isn't massive, but always space at the pool bar.

The location was brilliant close to shops restaurants and travel shops ,but these apartments are really nice and clean all staff go out of there way for you nice food as well and plenty of cold beers and play good music and some shows plus karaoke WiFi box's available plus let us keep room on to 6.oclock we had large 2 bedroom living room is so big. Just want to say thank you to all management and staff and cleaning staff too. Would I stay here again

Sunapart Honest review. Sorry its long but I wanted to cover everything. This is our 3rd time staying in sunaparts and will more than likely be our last tbh. We've always liked it because it's so cheap and cheerful. And we use it as a cheap base to lay our heads and go out most days. It's always been basic and not very clean. But this time we noticed it was a lot dirtier, terrible electrical fittings hanging from the walls. Only one plug socket worked for us. The rooms were dated and dangerous, railing outside wobbly and unsafe. I was allocated a ground floor room as I'm disabled and use a mobility scooter. When we arrived it was an apartment right round the back by the cleaners station with 4 stairs going up. I managed to go up and down the stairs with help from my husband but had to leave my scooter outside all the time. Lots of rubbish about and overgrown trees and plants made it really difficult to manoeuvre.every day a hose pipe was across our path. Our apartment was absolutely running alive with ants specially in the kitchen they were coming from a hole in the garden. We poured hot water down the hole and then left the apartment to go out. Unfortunately I slipped and fell down the wet stairs hurting myself quite badly. I had cuts and bruises all over. My bum, back, arms, knees ankles and face. There was a bush overhanging our steps which I fell into. I was shaken and in pain. The cleaners thought we blamed them for the water and kept apologising but eventually we managed to convince them it wasn't their fault at all. Bless them they were so lovely to us. We told a staff member what happened and he just said oh sorry. We'd asked for the bush to be cut back which they did after a day. Then 2 of our lights blew ( bathroom and living room ) which they sorted out within 10 minutes. The day before last we were swimming in the pool and I noticed a large pool light had floated up to the top of the pool and was connected to a cable. We got out ASAP. Reporting it straight away to a member of staff who said it wasn't live. Within 5 minutes someone came and got in the pool and fixed it. The staff are mostly great Chezz is fantastic as is Tom. Really helpful and friendly ☺️ if I'm being totally honest I'm done with sunaparts. It needs a complete overhaul and proper renovation. It's old,sad and tired. Also the smoking was literally unbearable, EVERYONE smokes. Staff, customers, etc there's just no relief from it. Poor little babies in buggies coughing until they're sick. Mum's with kids getting absolutely pissed, not watching their kids. We saw a young boy of around 8 almost drown in the pool until a guy pulled him out by his arm. He wasn't being watched properly it's so sad to see it go downhill so badly. We're going to try a different part of Turkey next time as we do love it. But unless you want to stay with the cast of Jeremy Kyle then stay away

When we 1st arrived at checkin, Reception advised us we are upgrading you to a 2 bed apartment. I stated we only booked 1 bed apartment through Easyjet Holidays, but he ignored that & gave us the 2 bed. He said that will be £75 please!? I asked what was that for, he stated AIR CON & WIFI. We paid for a self catering Holiday around £900 for both of us, so wasn't exactly cheap, cheap!! Since we went to Portugal in October 2 weeks after for £500 at a 3 star Hotel much better self catering with Easyjet. I have never ever had to pay for AIR CON, on any of our Holidays abroad. maybe it's a thing in Turkey. I complained to Easyjet upon our return, but got a standard reply. Stating it does state there might be extra charges! Which I did know about, but not AIR CON, Therefore had to pay for air con £45, and didn't take up the WIFI offer for another £30. The apartment was ok. I would rate it about a 2 star but clean! We had a small balcony looking over the pool. Big enough for 2 people. It had a reasonable sized bedroom, a big lounge, and a separate kitchen. Bathroom was still the design from the 80's. You can't flush toilet tissue down the toilet by the way. Presume their sewage pipes are still small! I think this Hotel more suited for families, since they did a lot of evening shows by the pool side. Which we did enjoy watching from our balcony. Also a lot of pool activities for the kids. Food wise I don't know, since we never used their facilities so can't comment. The beach is a 15 minute walk away (About a mile), which we didn't mind since we enjoy walking a lot. Beaches are nice, with a lot of Restaurants & sunbathing spots along the shore. The marina is to the left, which takes you to all the Yachts & 15th Century Castle. We took a boat trip to Cleopatra Island, that was lovely with all the history. You disembark on the Island, and have about 2 hours to sight see & have a dip in the crystal clear waters. Then on the way back, get to jump off the boat in a few more spots. We had lunch included & all drinks except Alcoholic ones. All round a good trip to do. There are lots of other trips available. One day we took the bus to Icmeler down the coast a few miles. You can hope on a mini bus for a round trip for 2 people for about £3. We took another bus trip to Turunc slightly dearer since it's past Icmeler round the coast about £7 return trip for 2 people. The bus climbs up to a about a thousand feet capturing some lovely views below & out at sea. Eating- Breakfast only eat at Speedy's Restaurant round the corner from the Hotel. All home made & fresh lovely. We tried 1 or 2 other places for the same price, but they were horrible so don't bother. The Breakfast most places works out at around £10 per person a bit dear inc a hot drink. Evening Meal- We went to 'Taj Mahal' on the main front near the beach a bit pricey, but well worth it. A set menu per person around £25 which isn't bad. The food was spot on, and Balcony view looking down into the streets bel
