Foxy Crocodile Bush Lodge & Kruger Safari's - No Loadshedding

Our trip to the Kruger was one of our best. Truly authentic and restful. Riette and Basil could not have been more welcoming or better hosts. Discreet, friendly, warm and helpful. We loved our very comfortable accommodation and coming home to wildlife in front of our apartment.. with views over the crocodile river. Marloth Park can be busy but you can’t go wrong with this location and unlike within the Kruger you can actually take a walk and stretch your legs after a day game viewing in the park. We highly recommend and hope to be back soon!

Riëtte and Basil have made sure our trip to Marloth Park and Kruger Park has been unforgettable. The lodge itself was spacy, clean and comfortable with a view over Kruger Park you will never forget. Boty hosts made sure everything was taken care of, from adjusted dinners due to allergies, last minute breakfasts to go and late dinners. All fresh and all of high quality. It haa been a privilege to stay at Foxy Crocodile Bush and we advise everyone visiting Marloth Park of Kruger Park to stay there. You will not be disappointed!

The moment we arrived at Foxy Crocodile - we were greeted with this amazing big smile, from owner Riëtte. That was it for both us - a big welcoming smile and we automatically felt at home. Riëtte’s husband Basil was always around if we needed any advice or help and was very welcoming and chilled out. Which is what we really wanted - chilled and happy hosts. Glen was our Kruger National Park guide, from Foxy Crocodile - now this guy is something else. Very very knowledgeable and took us to parts of the park, where there were no other guides. And yes - we managed to spot all of the Big Five in one day. You couldn’t make it up - so a big 10/10 for Riëtte,Basil and Glen for that amazing experience. Couldn’t ask for anything more. The staff:- Elizabeth, Patricia, Nompie, Lucky and Pendulo were all brilliant. Always around if and when you needed anything and the food they prepared was out of this world. The staff would always stop for a little chat, which was nice and they all seemed so happy. The location is right on the KNP - so don’t be surprised when the odd Giraffe, Impala, Kudu or Warthogs casually walk by when you’re having your breakfast. The staff and owners were really amazing and welcoming! We had amazing Kudus and warthogs visit our gardens every day! The accommodation is near perfect with it overlooking the crocodile river and the Kruger Park. It’s the perfect romantic getaway for some nice peace and quiet.

We stayed at this stunning accommodation in October, and we wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone! The room is exceptionally spacious, featuring both an outdoor and indoor shower, a bathtub, a fully equipped kitchen, and more. Everything is impeccably maintained. The private braai area and small pool make the experience even more enjoyable. While relaxing in the 'garden' of your private apartment, you may be visited by wildlife such as wildebeests and warthogs—a truly magical touch. For anyone planning a safari in Kruger National Park, this is the perfect base. The jeeps are superbly equipped, you’re provided with a delicious packed breakfast, and the guide is extremely knowledgeable and professional, ensuring an incredible safari experience. The hospitality is outstanding—you feel at home from the moment you arrive. I celebrated my birthday during our stay, and the hosts went above and beyond to make it unforgettable. For anyone visiting Kruger Park, staying at Foxy Crocodile Bush Lodge is an absolute must for an unforgettable experience!

Beautifully decorated, large room with outside dining area, braai and your very own plunge pool. While you’re sitting there the kudu’s gnoes and warthogs come to visit you. The hosts Riëtte and Basil are lovely people who do anything to make you feel at home.
