Bagatelle has a lovely restaurant, pool, and reception area. There is a very nice shop with many quality items. The activities offered are interesting, and the guides are professional and knowledgeable. We had a combined tour including both safari and cheetah feeding as well as a sunset with an outdoor bar. The chalets have lovely views from the terraces. A big BUT, why have an 'open' toilet? No door. And no hand-washing facility next to it. Who was the architect who managed to get this solution accepted?

Superlative. Best Welcome drinks in Namibia- and we had a few! The meals were stunning- beautiful pool and grounds. Fabulous views from our room across the Kalahari. Best home made croissants at breakfast( and again, we had lots to compare) The combination cheetah and sundowner drive was brilliant. We returned here after about 10 years because we loved it so much- and it' was even better this time!! Stay 2 days.

We enjoyed our stay so much. We saw a lot of different animals, every member of staff was very friendly. The Food was downright amazing. The horses were all well trained and in good shape

We stayed for 3 nights in a Dune Chalet, the views are beautiful and I would recommend staying in one if you can. Our Chalet was confortable, it did feel a little dated and in need of a makeover. All the excursions we did were excellent, and my partner who had no riding experience really enjoyed the early morning horse ride and got very close to the giraffes. Our Rhino feeding trip was a very memorable and special experience, and you come very close to the animals. We also did the evening Como excursion which include the Cheetah feed which is a unique experience. Food is a buffet and we dined outside, there was a decent choice and staff efficient and friendly. We thought our Spa treatment excellent and good value. Given the increasing number of lodges I would suggest a programme of upgrades be put in place including doors to the toilets in the Dune Chalets. New rooms seem to be getting built near the main building.

We enjoyed very much our stay at Bagatelle Kalahari Game Ranch It is really a very special and magic place, impossible to desribe with words. It is more a all-embracing feeling. All senses are adressed. Especially the late horse-ride will stay in my memory forever.

The place is nice, but too touristy. It's catered to rather larger groups and you feel that when arriving. The pool was ice cold and rather small and they only have a few lounge chairs in the shade, which was the only option to be outside since it was 40 degrees. Wildlife roams around freely but is being fed. Hotel catered quite good to our vegan needs, which was nice. I did find the price quite high compared to what you get. No night reception, one of us bumped into the 2 rhinos on property as everything was dark at 10 pm. We did a sunrise dune drive and saw rhinos, ostrich, giraffes, oryx and some more deer.

Bagatelle Lodge itselfe ja incredible. Very warm welcome, nice lodge great reserve. We spend one night at the camping place, did an afternoon game drive and booked the evening. The afternoon game drive was incredible! The dinner was very good and the wine cellar great. It all comes of course with some coats. Not the cheapest lodge. And that’s a bit of a disappointment. The campsite was ok, but not great. It was actually a bit worse than the average. Still completely fine camp site, but not the Money worth. The campsite is to expensive, even though the lodge itself of course is great. We payed 1200 NamDoller for 2 people. So everyone has to decide if you want to spend a bit more money and then get the rest great (which you obviously also pay for!) or take maybe a cheaper campsite. as far as i know you also could book the game drive without sleeping at the lodge.

This place is really amazing, beautiful with a great welcome. People are really nice, organization perfect. The activities are really great. Swimming pool with animals around is so great ! We were in campsite and could enjoy all the facilities! Thank you bagatelle
