Stayed here twice as pre-booked to and from airport. First visit just one night. Room was fine but dinner buffet was inedible. Glad we had some crisps with us. 2nd visit for two nights. We ate before we arrived to avoid the buffet experience. 16th February - 2nd day we ate lunch at lodge again to avoid buffet. On returning to room we found it had not been serviced. Reception staff very dismissive and suggested that we should have asked for it. Requested to see manager at this point. When she arrived also very unapologetic and arranged for servicing, reluctantly. They eventually arrived. I feel that if the female manager has this attitude then why would the staff care. Gondwana I am afraid you are not providing good service and are too complacent.

Great place to stay. Plenty of antelopes right around the lodge. Ostrich walking around my room. Pool is nice in the hot afternoon. Buffet dinner was pretty good. Sundowner driver is highly recommended. Splendid landscape. Wild life. And beautiful sunset with the red sand. Don't forget the take the night walk to see the scorpions! And watched for springhare at night!

The Kalahari is a place of longing for many and what a great way to experience it here - in a tent! This lodge is rather big, yet it feels like a oasis - quite a big oasis, I might add. The tents, however, a league of their own. This is where we felt the isolation and remoteness we associated with the Kalahari. The tents were an exhilarating change to the other accommodation we had in Namibia. They were spotlessly clean and comfortable. Who needs WiFi, if you can listen to the dessert birds at night, while giraffes and ostriches pass by the tent in the evenings. Star gazing from the tent was amazing and, to be honest, I am pretty proud of my milky way photo! The lodge itself was modern and appealing. Good cuisine, nice staff. 2 swimming pool and a playground for the kids. The sundowner game drive was excellent, and the only time and place in Namibia that we saw Marabou storks and owls.

So clean and comfortable. The room was stunning with a weaver bird print above it and on the secrecy windows. Everyone friendly and helpful.. best fillet steak we had in namibia, game drive and sundowners with moses so informative and stunning. Couldn't fault this place, perfection, thank you

I received one night at Kalahari Anib Lodge Camp2Go as a Birthday Gift. We arrived a bit early for Check In however we could enjoy a refreshing drink a the Pool side whilst waiting for our Tent to be ready for us. Once at our Tent we could watch the Oryx grazing on the dunes nearby. The Ostriches also strolled along the dunes. The Camp2Go tents offer you everything you need for a wonderful time out in Nature. The Staff is always friendly and willing to assist with all your needs. A Great Birthday Gift.

It was our first stop at the 12-day trip around Namibia. The lodge exceeded our expectations. We had a two-room cabin, with access to a terrace from both rooms. Sitting in a hanging chair we could observe elands, ostriches, springbok and oryxes passing by. At night the sky was covered with stars and even the milky was visible. Fantastic view. Dinner and breakfast were opulent (buffet). Wine selection for dinner was surprisingly wide and good. Staff friendly and helpful. In the evening it was pretty cold in our cabin but within 5 min. someone came and fixed the heating. The whole place was very clean.

Our first stop on a 12 day trip, and this was a great choice. We arrived sunset to see Oryx by the swimming pool! Buffet dinner and additional requested meals accommodated our dietary needs - 4 vegans, 4 vegetarians and 1 non-veg! Ditto for breakfast. The rooms were spacy and showers hot. Wish we'd stayed longer!

What not to like? The lodge is located in a stunning setting and well organized. Great sundowner tour with animal sighting and drinks, well thought-through breakfast and dinner buffet with ample options including for vegetarians. Could do a little better for fresh juices. Friendly and efficient staff. When a morning game drive was apparently forgotten we had a replacement organized within minutes. Great rooms with spectacular view. Recommended.

We booked this through Expert Africa and it was a great stay. The room was gorgeous and faced out to the savannah and watering hole. The sundowner game drive was so worth doing. The guide was so knowledgeable and she was passionate about the animals - he said this was her dream job and it showed. In one night, we saw Eland, Oryx, wildebeest, zebra, springbok, ostriches, kudu, weaver bird nests and marabou storks. The meals were fine and the pool was a little aged, but overall it was an amazing stay.
