Hotel Esplanad

My friend and I spent three nights in the hotel. We were happy to find the room clean and spacious for two people. There were relatively good amenities/furnishing including a hair dryer, shampoo, soap, desk for writing and two armchairs. For a two star hotel, it was good and undoubtedly in a great location. However, we noticed right away that the Wifi didn't work from our room. My friend could bearly get a single bar, and my phone couldnt even find the signal to connect to the router. As we moved closer to the main building where the reception desk was located, the wifi signal became stronger. Therefore, we went to the reception to ask if we could move rooms, to be closer to the wifi signal. We were told no, and that this was just the way the wifi was, and that everyone in the hotel struggled with the wifi, and basically just to deal with it. We were shrugged off and couldn't do anything about it. Therefore, if you are travelling with limited phone data, be aware although it is in the hotel advertisement, there is basically no wifi. Be careful. Finally, I just have to say how unhelpful the person on reception was generally. We asked them about when we should get to the airport, and if they knew how busy the aiport gets (of course we know they cant give us an exact estimate, but they have some general local knowledge)... again we were met with shrugs and no help! Thankfully we figured it out ourselves. (FYI: dont worry about getting there super early ! The airport is tiny and most locals arrived about 30 mins before boarding!). I'm not sure if I would stay here again, or recommend.

Questo Hotel ha un buon rapporto qualità prezzo per le Isole Aland. Ha una buona posizione e la colazione è discreta. Certo non aspettatevi di trovare dolcetti ma se ti accontenti del salato va benissimo. Le camere sono spaziose anche se spartane, la pulizia lascia un po' a desiderare. Visto dall'esterno non fa una buona impressione, avrebbe bisogno di una ristrutturazione. Gentilissima la signora che ci ha accolto al check in, simpaticissima. Ha avuto sempre un sorriso per noi.
