Mardia Hotel

The location is good and the price is low for the area, but my interactions and experiences with the hotel were overwhelmingly negative and unpleasant. First, I was told that they cannot accept credit card payment (Mastercard) because the machine is broken, and they referred me to currency exchange services in the town. But when I started to walk away to another hotel, the man at the desk changed his mind and said, "Let's try it anyway." Of course, it worked; seemingly, it was a dishonest trick to try to avoid the small transaction fee that is paid when a business uses card payment. This was a warning sign I should have heeded, because at the first indication of dishonesty, one should look elsewhere instead. I do not usually eat breakfast, so I asked that the mandatory breakfast charge not be included in my stay. However, it was mandatory. That said, during my three night stay, breakfast was never available quickly at reasonable times (8-10). My biggest complaint is the lack of cleanliness. In my room, the first sheets were disgusting: they had a yellowish stain on the sides that is likely from body fluid. I asked for a change of the linens, and two workers came in to the room at my request. One touched the stain. Then he had the audacity to say, "I do not see any stain." It is shocking behavior and I attach the relevant photo. It is as clear as day and yet the employee insisted, after touching the spot, that he can see nothing there, as though I am a liar. Even if the linens have been washed, if they look like that, they should be thrown away and replaced. Every business has its costs, and a hotel should replace such filthy things, which are an insult to a customer. Unfortunately, the linens they brought to replace these ones were also stained by body fluids, but in the center, and with a wider, yellow stain. Since I had no other choice, and since I already experienced shocking and dishonest behavior, I remained silent, and I slept over the top of the blanket. My final complaint relates to the excess smell of tobacco smoke, which caused me distress as an asthmatic. My recommendation is to stay far away from this place. There are better choices for the same price.

Diyarbakirda kaldigim otelden 1000TL fazla verdigime degmedi.
