Marari Beach is situated in Mararikulam area of Kerala. If coming from Kochi we recommend taking the coastal road as the views are stunning and village life great to see. On our arrival we had a lovely introduction and were presented with a very refreshing drink of Blue Butterfly Pea Flower tea. As part of CGH Earth group, they had outstanding environmental practices including recycled paper for their stationary. Set in beautiful grounds, the villa we stayed was very spacious and comfortable with the open-air bathroom providing a unique and enjoyable feature. Don’t worry mosquito repellent cream and incense sticks are provided. There was a lovely pool area with complimentary towels and water plus bar/ food options. The property runs down to a beautiful beach, perfect for a stroll, swim, watching fishermen and enjoying the sunset. The food and drink were excellent, with a great mix of Indian and Western options with many of the ingredients from the onsite organic garden. The restaurant offers local Keralan dishes, which we highly recommend you try. The daily afternoon tea stall offered delicious local cakes/treats with your Masala Chai / Coffee. There were plenty of activities, including a butterfly garden tour, nature and wildlife walks, and an amazing owl-watching tour with one of the knowledgeable resort naturalists. Shibu was extremely passionate about the wildlife and helped the group to spot various owls and other birds and to take great photos using his telescope. The staff (and naturalists) were incredibly engaging and helpful on top of providing an excellent service. They are the primary reason why the stay was so relaxing and enjoyable. Special mention has to go to Sishwimi(?) at reception, who provided great support when I had a medical incident, arranging a doctors appointment so I was seen and treated the same day. Thank you!! We would not hesitate to return or recommend Marari Beach as wonderful place to stay.

There can be no question that this hotel offers everything a guest could want - and does it excellently. The layout of the property is delightful and a beach is at hand as well. One can take as much, or little, of activities on offer. Noteworthy is the Farm to Kitchen. Wonderful! - with plaudits to chef Divia. Lovely staff make the place hum *****. Special mention here of delightful Anushka, in charge of the arranging activities.

The Marari Beach Hotel was the last one on our trip and it was a very chilled place to be On our arrival we had a lovely introduction by Jayakrishnan will sipping a very refreshing drink of Blue Butterfly Pea Flower tea The hotel is part of CGH Earth group and had outstanding environmental practices including paper bags The villa we stayed in was set in beautiful grounds and was very comfortable but some may find the part open-air bathroom a bit strange to start with! It was helpful that they provided mosquito repellent cream and incense sticks 😀 There was a lovely pool area with complimentary towels and water plus bar/ food options and Vishnu gave excellent service and was very friendly and chatty The changing rooms and nearby toilets/ showers were very large There was plenty to do at the hotel including 9am butterfly garden tour ( wear long trousers and have some mosquito repellent on), other nature and wildlife tours. The tour to see owls was amazing (again be sure to wear long trousers and sleeves). Shibu was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the wildlife and helped the group to spot various owls and other birds and to take great photos using his telescope The afternoon tea stall run by locals had lovely tea/ coffee and delicious cake/ treats and other activities such as archery were great fun to try The property has extensive gardens and a number of bars/ restaurants onsite and a reasonably priced shop. It runs down to the beach where it was great to have a stroll, watch the fisherman and see the glorious sunset.

This resort is very well thought out and executed! It was our favorite place to stay during our trip. The salt water pool was very relaxing and you can also walk to the beach from the property. There are multiple restaurants on site, towel stands, and lots of areas to explore and relax. We spent some time in the butterfly garden and were also able to schedule same day massages. The rooms were spacious and beautifully laid out and the outdoor shower/bathroom was great as well. They provided mosquito repellant, natural body scrubs, and citronella cream. Staff was also wonderful and kind. Wish we could have spent more time there!

A lovely eco friendly property with loads of activities & a beach attached to it. Hospitality, food, drinks, ambience, comfort are the best I ever experienced. A must visit place & has a repeat value too. The only drawback are the mosquitoes & insects in the evening which they don't have control upon.
