I had a terrible experience, and if it weren’t for the beach, I’d rate it a zero. It all started with a slow check-in process at the front desk, where we were still required to fill in our own information. The experience was so disappointing that, even though it meant losing money, we chose to leave early and go to another hotel. Just so you know, when we informed the staff that we were leaving ahead of schedule, no one even asked why. We had booked a premium room, supposedly one of the best, but were placed in an area surrounded by construction — dust everywhere, the smell of paint, and a view of a construction site (as shown in the photos). We decided to downgrade to a standard beachfront room and accept the loss just to escape that. The new room had a broken toilet, damp patches on the walls, blood stains on the ceiling, dirty curtains, a TV that rarely worked, only very hot water in the shower, and a broken safe (again, see the photos). The food was low quality, prepared in bulk with little care. Only one of the themed restaurants served decent meals. The hotel grounds were often dirty, with trash left on the floor for most of the day, and several of the pools were consistently dirty. The staff showed little initiative in helping with problems. For instance, the kids’ pool had no water running — I had to find the person myself to get it turned on after the first employee I spoke to just shrugged it off. The beach directly in front of the hotel is small, with a limited swimming area and lots of boats. Trash on the sand would often remain there all day. Thankfully, walking about 10 minutes in either direction brought us to some truly beautiful beaches. In short, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone. The nearby beaches are stunning, but you’re better off booking another hotel in the area to enjoy them properly.
