The location is nice close to the railway station. No in house restaurant was a drawback. Services were slow and poor. Had a damp smell in the rooms maybe due to renovation.

Having stayed at metro plaza hotel a few times in the past, the experince of this stay was not so good compared to earlier ones. I believe the hotel is under renovation but the superior room offered was very average in cleanliness and upkeeping. The room phone instrument and bed back panel were a bit dusty with hair strands at places, the washroom door lock was also very hard to get trough. It gives an impression they have a different grade of room to offer to mmt and similar travel portal booking guests.

I reached the hotel on monday morning and booked an executive room. At first they have given room on the ground floor, which was not matching with the executive room. As i disagreed to stay in the room they provided me with a superior room, which was good. Ac in the room was not working, upon complaining they got the room changed immediately. Overall experience: 4/5
please take care to give the booked room, don't try to fool others.

Really very experience to us. I informed to staff about a little issue in the room and requested to allot some other room. They immediately reallocated another room without any hesitation. Ac working properly. Room is clean and neat. Toilet/bath rooms were cleaned and maintained neatly. They have their own kitchen and the food quality is good. The complementary breakfast is good, we have tasted a variety of hot dosa as per our request. Location is very nearer to mangalore central railway station, it's walkable distance only from railway station. The services of staff also best.

The worst experience ever i have seen with this hotel, very first thing hotel is very un hygienic and rooms smells bad. We have checked 3 rooms no rooms were clean and each every room is having one or other issue. I went with my spouse and 2 kids under age 3years. 1 st they gave under renovation room which is having dust and not even had window curtains and bed is not having cushion support. When we denied the room they shown 2 other rooms where cocroches were flying on beds and chairs. At last we stayed in a room which is having water leakage from ac since we checked into the hotel around 10 pm also its raining at that time since i cannot run for other hotel at that time with small kids. The stay is too worst at this price. One more thing don't be fooled by photos of property/room it's completely different than actual.

The rooms are ok. But when we enter the room alcoholic smell in the room. Also cable is not working. Later we complained they recharged only for specific channels. But breakfast is good and having variety foods. Suitable to bachelors
