What a beautiful hotel in the most incredible setting. We loved everything about our stay, the stunning historic architectural features of the building were truly romantic. Our room was beautiful with the addition of beautiful antique furniture and a wonderful balcony with far reaching views across the stunning parkland. We had a wonderful meal at the restaurant and a greeting and conversation from the head chef to thank him for the delicious meal. All of the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful with smiles to greet you at every meeting. I would truly recommend this gorgeous hotel for a romantic break outside of the city for a memorable visit.

I had travelled with my mother in October 2024 during Dussehra festival. It was an awesome stay. The staff was very cordial, food was excellent and beautiful setting. Our food requirements were catered to without any fuss. It was a lovely experience staying at the Royal Orchid right inside Brindavan Garden.

First we were allotted a ground floor room 105 which was a dungeon. The bathroom was stinking and the bathtub was a joke. However upon complaining the staff and GM immediately moved us to another room 310 which was nice and no complaints. However at night the AC stopped working and it was fixed but started dripping water which was too much and again that was fixed but late at night it stopped working again. Having said this the location and staff are very nice. GM is trying to renovate the property. Please keep in mind this is a sort of heritage property so renovations will have its limits. My two pence, visit for the location and the warmth of the staff. They indeed are trying their best to give you a good experience and cater to your needs. Thank you TJ and your team. Oh yes they were courteous to waive of one food bill since Chinese wasn't up to the mark.

Like the Brindavan garden is now past its glory the hotel staff are taking the hotel the same way, down hill. The reception staff Ms Pallavi was rather rude and obstinate & uncooperative. The restaurant staff again was obstinate in every request for food. We made the mistake of going for meals package and they failed in that . No buffet was available as the occupant was low. Set menu was so set that a request to change an item from A to B was too much of an ask We have paid for children ( 10 years) but they don’t provide extra bed for children and we were asked to be paid extra for bed. When we tried to reason out the answer is you should have booked direct with us! But we had booked on a web site that claimed to be the site for Royal Orchid.It’s all messed up and sure shot that the hotel is going down the drain Remember the at the hotel charges a 5 star rate more than any 5 start in Mysore city and ensures that they provide 1 star service as descended above Long and shot AVOID this place

The property's location is unbeatable, with stunning view of the Brindavan garden. The staff was exceptional, friendly and helpful. The facilities were top-notch, including a reliable Wi-Fi connection and clean rooms. Parking is available inside the garden itself. Overall, a fantastic stay for families with young children.

Great property, excellent location, fantastic service, great food.. this has everything you can wish for.. Heritage property that lives upto its expectation. Although entering the property is a hassle, with the crowds to Brindavan gardens in the evening, but inside, its a great feeling. Rooms are nice and spacious, although bathrooms are not appointed well, with water not draining out properly.. Overall, i would come back to stay here again!

Very homely with personal care by entire team at Royal Orchid. Views from room, access to Brindavan Garden are amazing for a lifetime experience...we enjoyed the stay with family...food was very tasty and special care taken for all age groups...

It’s a good heritage property away from city hustle with good housekeeping staff and nice food. Being a heritage property you miss on the luxury part but the overall upkeep and location made it more special to be associated with history of Mysore.
