Absolute nightmare stay at candlewood resort. We booked 2 super deluxe ac rooms. Upon our arrival , we were alloted 2 rooms at second floor, with no lift. The rooms were not super deluxe ac and it wasn't matching with the photos shared in the 3rd party booking app. The manager said that the photo on @Agoda was false and they didn't have any rooms which matches that photo. They were not ready to accomodate us in better rooms as none were arrival. Upon multiple request and prolonged heated quarrels they agreed to upgrade 1 of the rooms to a better one , however that would be chargeable. Nowhere in the hospitality sector have a I ever seen a hotel which charges for room upgradation because of the management's fault. The hotel manager is a fraud as he was lying to us since the very start. Initially they said , since we were a large group they have changed our room, without our permission, and gave us a bigger room. The photos of the bigger room are shared. The rooms are not maintained. The lights are broken , there is no mini refrigerator, the balcony is just a smoking room and there is no holder for the bidet.

Good Interiors, aesthetically done, but lacks maintenance, basic amenities. Visited this Forestta block, which is supposedly newly built. However, the Cons outweigh the Pros, the details are as follows- The Pros : 1. Rooms are well built , Spacious, but not so well maintained. 2. Good interiors, a quiet place. 3. The North Indian cuisine tasted fine. The Cons: 1. No Lift 2. The in room phones don’t work, you need to dial a cellular number for their services. 3. Nobody to welcome you at the reception desk, it is mostly vacant. 4. To order food, you need to dial the same cellular number, the food comes from their old property, which is across the street. 5. No restaurant in the new wing, Forestta, the only restaurant available is at their old building, which is 100-200 meters away. 6. No Bath soap available, the Hotel just don’t offer. The only option is the Shower Gel which is attached to the bathroom walls. Sadly, Mandarmoni doesn’t have decent Hotels, this was the only one which was pleasing to the eyes. I’m pretty sure in a few months or a year, this will deteriorate . Overall I’d give 3 stars just for the Interiors sake.

The best in Mandarmoni. Amiable ambience, hospitality at its best. Service is excellent and prompt. The new Forresta property is an experience to cherish. And the swimming pool is huge, clean and beautiful. The beachfront sitting arrangement with mocktails and kebabs are somewhat different from the other resorts. Overall ecstatic experience and a stay that is to be cherished for months. One of the most relaxing experience that I ever had.

It was a wonderful experience indeed. Payments were handled in a hassle free way. We were attended when ever we needed. Very hospitable. Staffs were very sweet and courteous. Nothing went wrong. Recommended highly. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay.

Horrible experience. Very bad service, below average food, high priced, extremely unhygienic environment. Used plates lie outside room whole night. Dogs and cats come and lick those plates. Next day food is being served in those plates. Staff behavior very bad and unprofessional. Just not worth staying.

Candle wood beach resort is quite a famous one in mandarmani. As we were highly satisfied last year this year too we chose to stay here. And that was a great mistake indeed. How could a place deteriorate so much in 1 year? Check in was not smooth at all as the previous boarders did not check out even by 12.30pm even though the check out time is 10am. The people in the reception were so cool about it saying.. What can we do if they don't check out... The deadliest part was the food.. I never ever had such pathetic food in my life. And so was the service. Even the most shabby beach shack would have better food and service. So... Think 10 times before booking this place.

A 2 star hotel with substandard rooms. The rooms are dark and dingy with appalling view. Basic amenities are missing in the rooms. The bedsheets are pale and yellow. Hotel reception looks like a warehouse.Location and service are good though

The resort has no sense of decency at least to receive a call for booking. On calling their provided Mobile numbers in their website for booking , none of them recieved the call in any of their numbers , neither they have this courtesy to call back. The resort administration have just advertised their resorts beautifully with attractive pictures and services, but when it comes to their booking , then none of them picks up the phone for booking. Very bad experience in initial phase .
