The hotel is sited at a very convenient location with just 3-min walk to Oxford Road station, the room is fine but the using of access cards is a little bit tricky and malfunction few times and we needed to request the reception to change a new one Regardless of the flaw, everything’s fine and the breakfast is good, so it’s still worth to consider here for your stay considering their convenience in location and traffic

This is a small hotel near the Debdale Park. The provided facilities are minimal and not matched with the money paid. The guest chairs near the front desk are also stained. However, the staff served at the front desk and during breakfast is friendly.

Really enjoyed our stay, easy check in and out. However, slight mixup and confusion at first by giving up a room that someone has already booked, luckily when we went in they weren’t in but they sorted it and ensured us it wouldn’t happen to us.

Great service at check-in and a special shout out to Mia who is a great ambassador to excellent customer service. Gave me a quiet room and also went the extra mile and wrote down directions of Manchester United stadium (and tram), even though I didn't ask for them. Gold star employee in my opinion. I recently stayed at the Britannia Hotel in Manchester and wanted to share my thoughts. Location: The location is definitely one of the hotel’s strongest points. It’s super accessible to all forms of transport, whether you’re arriving by train, bus, or tram. It’s right in the city center, so you can easily explore Manchester without much hassle. Parking: The parking arrangement is convenient if you’re driving, especially with free parking between 8 pm and 8 am. Outside of those hours, you’ll need to pay, so keep that in mind if you’re staying for longer stretches. Hotel Condition: This is where the hotel shows its age. The building is very old, and while it has some charm, it could definitely use an upgrade. You can feel the wear and tear in the common areas and some of the rooms. Rooms: The rooms are a mixed bag. The basic rooms are just that—basic. They’re not particularly comfortable, and if you’re picky about where you sleep, you might feel underwhelmed. However, if you go for one of the upgraded rooms, the experience is much better. Those rooms feel cleaner and more inviting. Breakfast: Breakfast is a solid deal at just £9. It’s not a luxury spread, but it gets the job done. You’ll find the usual options for a budget-friendly hotel breakfast. Staff: The staff are a highlight of the hotel. They’re very kind and helpful, making you feel welcome from check-in to check-out. Value for Money: Overall, this is a budget-friendly hotel, so you do get what you pay for. If you’re looking for a no-frills place to stay in a central location and don’t mind the dated vibe, it works. However, if comfort and modern amenities are a priority, you might want to explore other

Not a glamorous place, but location is excellent very central and is always exceptional value for money. Always feel safe with 24/7 security and rooms are a decent size. I do think they are slowly making some positive noticeable steps towards their image problem and notorious reputation. Firstly they now offer free WiFi and don’t charge and I was pleasantly surprised at the complimentary upgrade to a room with a window, new smart TVs larger variety of drinks, upgraded bathroom - always very clean. For the price I paid and given the location right next to Market St and Northern Quarter - if you need a place to crash and not looking for luxury and have realistic expectations - excellent. The rooms without a window I actually like - especially in winter they are warm and think blackout curtains. Always have the best sleep. Appreciate that isn’t always for everyone and often they will upgrade these sometimes with breakfast for £10 a night just ask at check in. Some of the staff, security and reception can be quite surly and rude some of the time - expect they don’t have an easy job - and some guests can be absolutely vile and sometimes you can tell blanket rule some of them have is all guests are potentially problematic. Example - I forgot my room number, I always memorise the way to get there rather then the number itself - I know that’s bizarre but started a full on questioning accusing me of pretending to be me and an intruder. I had my wallet and photo ID to prove I am me - surely this would have been a friendlier more appropriate approach rather than instantly assuming I’m a criminal. Photo ID worked fine for them to allow me to my room which I had a key for and found just fine. Just constructive feedback

Excellent location and staff very obliging. They held are bags for the afternoon whilst we went around town. Only slight issue, there was no plug socket to put the hairdryer in near the mirror. Overall though very good 👍

Everything was spot on. The gym was immaculate and equipped with everything you’d need for a workout; however, it would be even better if they provided a yoga mat. The bar is practically open 24/7, so you can grab a pint whenever you fancy. If you wake up around 8 a.m. and fancy the free breakfast, you’d best forget it—unless you don’t mind waiting 20-30 minutes in the queue.

The hotel is in a great location for anyone visiting the AO arena, within easy walking distance of the arena, the Printworks, and the Arndale centre. Nice clean room and bathroom. Breakfast is good and included in the price, however, it gets very busy at peak times.

Booked as we were visiting Manchester for a show - location is ideal, only 5 min from Oxford Street Station therefore close to centre. The Hotel is welcoming and fresh and staff were friendly and very obliging. We had breakfast which was ok - it was around 9am and the area was busy and there was only 2 staff on and I experienced a few of the stations (preserves / cheese) were needing topped up and I felt the staff were busy enough so didn't approach.
