Hotel Thomas Villa

I booked this hotel from 26th may 25 to 30th may 25 to spent quality time with my families and kid. I booked this hotel online through make my trip. I am working in Indian Armed Force, after hectic schedule of operation sindoor we went Manali for 4days. But my full trip was spoiled by this hotel staff Mr Rampal, an unprofessional, unskilled, arrogant, person sitting in the front desk (Reception). The very first day onwards during check in up to check out his behavior was rude. I am sharing his few words here - 1). Check in time i was requested him about the room , as we were four family members, i thought if the room is not specious i can book another room. He ( Mr Rampal) replied me " JA KE CHECK KARLO, PASAND NHI HAI TOH CANCELLED KAR DO, HUMARE PASS YEH ROOM HAI". 2). We have seen that the food rate is higher in this hotel restaurant compare to outside restaurant. So we brought dinner ( Roti and sabji) from outside and requested him for four plates at our room as he was in front desk since morning. He replied " JAB KHANA BAHAR SE LAYA TOH PLATE BHI BAHAR SE LAYE." and also said " "NON VEG KHANA NOT ALLOWED HUMARE YEHA YEH JAIN HOTEL HAI" . I said we didn't brought non-veg. 3.) After that i thought i should talk to Make my Trip and hotel authority regarding Mr Rampal and i talked both. From make my trip they apologized and offered me a coupon for next trip and booking. and Hotel authority name Mr Raghu Verma told he will take care. Our entire trip was spoiled by this unprofessional person Mr Rampal. We came back to our home with a bitter experience. I want to suggest, in Manali you will get many hotels, cottage and home stay in the main road. Don't go in this hotel as it is located almost 2 km from the main road and the road condition is very pathetic like road covered by full of concrete and stone, very narrow road, difficult to pass other vehicle coming from opposite side, many big potholes. After that pathetic and rude behavior from Hotel staff. In online booking we could not find anything as it was not mentioned in booking side. It is my suggestion try to book any hotels , cottage which are located in the main road. Many more worst experience about this property which i could not share due to limited characters in this box. I had a decent stay overall, but there are a few things you should know before booking. The hotel is located around 2 km from the private bus stand and about 4 km from Mall Road and Hadimba Devi Temple. Unfortunately, getting around isn’t easy from here—autos and cabs aren’t readily available unless you hire one for the entire day, which makes every outing either difficult or expensive. If you’re coming to explore Manali, I’d strongly recommend booking something in Old Manali instead, where you can actually walk around and enjoy the vibe without needing to rent a cab every time. Now, about the hotel itself—rooms were spacious, clean, and the staff was polite and helpful. Breakfast was good too. The service honestly exceeded expectations. They also provide cab booking services, including shared rides with other guests and convenient pickup/drop from the private bus stand, which was a nice touch. However, the hotel doesn’t look anything like the pictures shown on MakeMyTrip (which is where I booked). It was a bit of a surprise when we arrived. And while the rooms were nice, the layout was a bit odd—especially for the deluxe rooms, which are all on the ground floor. My room’s door opened directly into the dining area, and the windows faced the lawn. So privacy was basically nonexistent, which was disappointing. All in all, there’s nothing majorly wrong with the hotel itself—rooms and staff were great—but the location and lack of privacy (for ground floor deluxe rooms) are definitely things to consider before booking. If those aren't dealbreakers for you, it’s still a solid choice.

room ground floor look like stay in kitchen room 103.. room no 101 ..shower and hot water issue.. i reuest for first or second floor ...2nd day they provide ....no gpay facility which is very bad ...more cleanness required

Nice Location and very kind and supportive staff. They made our stay more comfortable. Food was really awesome. The rooms are neat and clean, well maintained property. The lobby is quit spacious again and has multiple seating areas. If you are going for good stay in best price and services then go for it..
