I loved staying at this resort. The staff is very friendly, helpful and just great people. The food is delicious: I recommend the Bacon cheese burger! The site is so peaceful and relaxing, the perfect getaway! On Sundays they play loud music which I wasn't the largest fan of, but it definetly made the resort more of a vibe! I will absolutely be staying there again!

Beautiful place. I liked the waterslide, the shop for the jewelry, the beach also. The lifeguards were also very attentive.

I enjoyed the lagoon and cozy wind in the sunset bar with my family. Our stay was worth our travel. We highly recommend you make a stop there as well

Excellent resort close to Monrovia and RIA, beautiful beach for long walks, and large selection of pools, ideal for children. Excellent food, efficient staff and service-oriented managers. Interesting animal sanctuary where you can learn and help a lot.

On our recent family group trip to Liberia we went to the Libassa Ecolodge for a day trip. It was an enjoyable trip for the kids (5 kids ages 6-12) and the adults. We got there around noon and we had the place mostly to ourselves until more people started showing up around 2-3pm. There were lots of pools and a lazy river that the kids enjoyed. There was lots of seating on the deck areas of the property plus some down on the beach. There are two restaurant/bar areas. We ate there and the food and drinks were very good but the service was a little slow. Just be aware that they don't have towels there so you have to bring your own. Overall it was a great experience and I would definitely recommend.

Great place, good service and very friendly and professional staffs. The only two issues I had with the place is that the road leading there is a bit bad( unpaved) and no fresh water to take showers or brush your teeth with. Got sick and tired of using saltwater for almost everything except drinking.

Disappointing Experience – False Advertising, Poor Management, and Overpriced Accommodations We had high expectations for Libassa Ecolodge, but our experience was marred by deceptive advertising, poor management, and subpar accommodations. We made a reservation for their New Year’s dinner based on their flyer, which clearly advertised $240 per couple, including a room. However, upon arrival, we were informed that rooms with AC were $390. Despite the steep and unexpected price discrepancy, we were still willing to pay, but we asked to speak with management for clarification. Shockingly, the manager refused to address our concerns and instead asked us to pay or leave. The local Liberian staff seemed far more professional and empathetic than the Lebanese and French management team, who displayed an unacceptable level of arrogance and disregard for customer concerns. To make matters worse, the so-called ‘upgraded’ room they were charging $390 for looked outdated and wouldn’t pass for a 2.5-star motel. It’s baffling how such substandard accommodations could be priced so outrageously. In the end, we were happy to walk away, unwilling to spend our hard-earned money at an establishment that seems to thrive on exploitation, false advertising, and dismissive customer service. While Libassa Ecolodge may have a beautiful setting, its poor management, lack of transparency, and substandard facilities overshadow any potential positives. We cannot recommend this place in good faith.
