Malagas Hotel

We spent 3 nights here and really enjoyed the peacefulness and the good good served. We used Malgas as a base for trips to Witsand, Infanta and De Hoop. Its ideally positioned for this. The staff are friendly and helpful.

I was highly disappointed by Malgas Hotel. I still feel I deserve my money back. I had a Hyperlink Voucher plus we paid for an extra room for my daughter. It was a weekend away before her move to England. On arrival we was told we not allowed to braai our own meat. Though I was told over the phone that it will not be a problem..we had more than eight hundred rand worth of meat. The rooms was not very clean. My daughters room was disgusting. So much that I had them in our room on first evening. Next day I complain and was told they will move them to a other room. At night that room smell moulded and stuffy. My daughter got sick through the night and was rush home to a Dr that refer her to the hospital. Week later she still sick with repertory infection due to the stuffy and moulded room. The other thing the next day I was told we can braai if I pay R149 for 2 ppl to braai R80 for salad and buy pack of meat by them for R150 then they charge me extra R100 for my daughter to braai so that braai came to over a thousand rand for one braai. You even pay for coffee saches and sugar and powder milk they one supply for one coffee per person. You pay R25 for glass of normal milk. There was nothing to do as you pay for everything. It was not pleasant at all. They can really do so much as that place have the potential but unfortunately I will never recommend someone there. I did not even bother to tell them how dissapointed I was as they were so rude on the first night already.

Our trip to Malagas Hotel was one of those special moments that we will always look back on. The staff were incredibly kind and went out of their way to accommodate us. The food was delicious and the facilities were wonderful. We loved our breakaway!

The location for a break away was great. We enjoyed the quiet space and the remoteness of the hotel and closeness to De Hoof.

smiling staff, pretty damn good provenance, plentiful parking, wild within wheel range, what more can be said ? Wonderful.
