A very welcoming host, George, who with his family runs a friendly clean and efficient hotel with a very clean pool with sunbeds, and free beach sunbeds, with bar service on the adjacent beach area. Marilena provides an excellent drinks service all day around the pool and down to the beach - of special note are the ice frosted beer glasses - YES! A comfortable one bedroom suite with balcony and pool/sea view but we spent little time in it. Buffet breakfast was good with excellent coffee. Lots of choice of tavernas in easy walking distance and nearby bus stops to Knossos, Heraklion and the airport (for just €1.60).

First of all, the boss a George and of course his parents do a fantastic job every single day. The food, cleanliness and helpfulness are all the best with them. We are glad that we could spend our vacation in such a place. It was an experience to be among such people. The room is cleaned every day. The pool is kept clean every day, the beach is a few steps from the accommodation. Whoever chooses this accommodation will surely not regret it.

It felt like home from home from the moment we arrived. George is the perfect host, attentive, fun and yet humble and honest. We had the most wonderful time. We were in a large group but all of the adults and children absolutely loved their stay here. We were very sad to leave but happy that we will return again. I cannot recommend this lovely, family owned hotel enough. Fantastic location, great food and drink, all reasonably priced and amazing staff!

The rooms are modern renovated, perfectly clean bedsheets,towels, comfortable mattresses. I didn’t expect but our room was cleaned daily. I’ve visited this hotel couple of times and I would say that breakfast service significantly improved ( I mean variety of choices) And the most important was that the swimming pool area and the beach only for hotel customers and you can always find a sunbed available, the beach is very close to hotel- maybe 1 min walking. Generally good price,good service, good location

A beautiful family hotel ran by an amazing family. George could not of been more helpful or hospitable. He really goes the extra mile to make your holiday perfect. Very spacious rooms, great residents only pool right on the beach will be back

I stayed here with my parents in a one bedroom suite. The stay was ok but not great. Pros: Friendly and helpful staff Nice pool and beach area with plenty of sun beds and sun umbrellas Good food for lunch and breakfast Best chocolate milkshake I have ever had Had a mini mart, cocktail bar, laundry mat and a sightseeing train in close proximity The suite had a little kittenet area with fridge and kettle They have a lift so you don’t have carry your bags up stairs Cons: The suite had only one air conditioning unit and a severe lack of air flow when the windows were closed (which they had to be for the air con to work) this meant that the area were the 3rd bed was got extremely hot even with the aircon on. This is very dangerous especially to young children and elderly adults. A pedestal fan in the room would have fixed this problem. The drains in the bathroom had a very bad smell after one day of us being there. Breakfast starts at 8:30am which is very late if trying to sightsee or do tours During our stay the power went out 3 times obviously this is not an issue of the hotel but something this area seems to be prone to. Notes: This hotel had a lot of rules. They all had reasons for being there however having to remember so many rules made it hard to completely relax. The drive way down to the hotel is very narrow so taxis don’t love to go directly to the door.
