We went to this hotel for a week. This was our 3rd time staying at this hotel. Last time was in 2013. We were not disappointed at all. We had a sea view room which was clean and tidy and had a nice balcony to sit out on and look at the stunning views of the Almafi Coast. The maid did a great job looking after our room. We stayed half board and the food was lovely. The service from restaurant was excellent. The view from the restaurant is spectacular. Breakfast was okay. The bar was nice to sit and have a drink and meet other guests. The barman Antonio was a lovely friendly guy.Thanks for looking after us so well. It was nice to see members of staff that were there from our other visits to the hotel. The hotel was kept clean and tidy. Staff very friendly. Pool area is nice. The terrace area is a lovely area to relax and have a drink. We had a lovely holiday and want to say a big thank you all the staff that work so hard to make your stay enjoyable. Maiori is a great central location to get around the Almafi Coast either by bus or ferry.

Hotel nice and staff friendly but they put drinks from bar on a table which is fine but we were shocked to find how expensive the drinks were some double what you pay outside of the hotel also little shocked to be charged €3 for each bottle of water we had with evening meal (half board) we have always had this included free with a meal, would advise being careful about the extras and check what you are being charged before excepting

Our staying at this hotel was really pleasant! The lobby, the lounge , the restaurant, the terrace and all other areas are very pleasant. The room and bathroom were nice too. I have read some criticism about the fact that the last renovation must have been some time ago but I have to say that we didn't miss anything, it was like being at home. Everything was there and was kept well. The swimming pool is very well kept and clean with lots of beds and chairs ( with very nice toilets which had also showers and changing rooms!). The people working at this hotel are the absolute best and they are there to help you having a nice holiday. We had only great experiences with everyone really from the personnel in the lobby to the chambermaid , the waiting staff and the maitre everyone was very nice. Breakfast is nice and plentiful , crispy bacon and scrambled eggs are very good . I only missed the option for some sugar free items which I would have appreciated. I saw quite a few nice pastries and so on but I had to stick to the savoury choice. Dinner was very nice too especially the pasta and rice dishes. The maitre will also offer you some other options not on the menu if you like some different things. Again I would have appreciated an option for sugar free desert but they always offered me fresh fruit. A great experience to be repeated!

We had a 5 night stay at the hotel and it was perfect for us. We had 2 double rooms, which were spotlessly clean and we had maid service every day. The rooms were a little bit dated but they had everything we needed so we didn’t mind that at all. We had a balcony with a partial sea view. The beach is just across the street from the hotel. The staff at the hotel were amazing, evey one so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The restaurant manager let me and my husband go in for breakfast early on our last morning as we had an early pick up and also arranged for our daughter and her friend to have a takeaway breakfast bag for the journey. The food in the hotel was very good with 3 course meal every evening. Good variety for breakfast every morning as well. We found the location ideal for exploring the Amalfi coast. Ferry port 10 min walk away and bus stop right outside the hotel so we were able to easily get around on public transport. Nothing negative to say about the hotel at all. Would definitely recommend the Pietra Di Luna hotel and just wish we could have stayed longer.

I just recently returned from Hotel Pietra di Luna in Maiori, staying from September 29th to October 6th. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. Very well run hotel, excellent service, super clean and they included 2 delicious meals a day. Good location not too far from the ferry port and across the street from the beach. Loved that I could hear the waves every night. Spacious balcony with a table and 2 chairs so we could sit outside and enjoy the beautiful view. The people that work at this hotel make it such a great place to spend your vacation. I highly recommend Maiori as a base when staying in the Amalfi Coast as it's quieter and not as busy and absolutely recommend staying at Hotel Pietra di Luna. Cannot wait to return. Ciao

We would highly recommend this hotel as a base for exploring the Amalfi Coast. The staff were friendly and accommodating, the location was perfect in that we were a few strides from the prom and it was spotlessly clean. Lovely atmosphere in the dining room especially in the evenings and we loved the duo of guitarists who serenaded the guests twice in the week. Great selection of food. The only thing we would add is that we would have loved some more fresh fruit in the mornings. Easy access to supermarkets, shops and cafes and a much quieter resort than some of its more well-known neighbours. We were delighted to be able to rub shoulders with the locals. All staff including the Manager couldn't have done enough for us, answering our questions and greeting us as we arrived and left.

Had a lovely week in this hotel in beautiful Maiori. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect with lovely views of the sea from the balcony. Would definitely recommend and will visit again if we come back to this part of Italy

My daughter and I stayed for a week at the Pietra di Luna in August. We upgraded to a twin room which had a lovely big balcony and a sea view. The room was spotless and very comfortable, it was cleaned every day by a lovely lady, and our towels were changed daily. The whole hotel is kept beautifully clean, as is the pool and pool area. All the staff are very friendly and helpful, especially in the restaurant. Breakfast was quite informal with excellent choices. We kept the same table for dinner and we had the choice of three options to begin the meal and three options for a main course, and then a choice of dessert. Often we were too full to have and a dessert. The food was lovely, all locally sourced. There were a lot of Italian families staying at the hotel, which is a good recommendation.

We booked to stay here after visiting for a welcome meeting with a Rep whilst staying at another hotel. The hotel is right on the seafront and we had a partial sea view room but the view was fantastic. The hotel is quite old fashioned decor wise but it’s got a real charm. The room was spacious, the only thing missing was a kettle but it didn’t really matter to us. We only used the pool once as we spent most of our time exploring but it was very quiet with plenty of beds. The staff were all very helpful and friendly and the restaurant manager greeted my husband by name which was a nice touch. If we stayed again (we would choose here if we returned) we would probably stay B&B not because there were any problems but because Maiori has lots of lovely restaurants to explore. That said the service in the restaurant was very good. I had no complaints about our stay.
