Rihiveli Maldives Resort

It was my third time here and I was a bit concerned cause I know the ownership has changed, but I found everything perfect as usual. Plus: food really good, daily trip for snorkeling included, very relaxed and intimate, feeling like you are the only one here most of the time. Easy going. Nature is simply amazing. Will come back again for sure. Just hope the Maldivian government will start to have more sensibility for environmental issues, like banning plastic would be a good start.

Never out for snorkeling It seemed like you, in the day the boat didn't go, one there was wind, one captain there wasn't one there wasn't gasoline in short, never went out !!! Then they always snorted if you registered the night before it was early, in the morning it In the past good island now a no good direction !

My opinion of Rihiveli Resort is quite mixed. Although the island is paradise-like and provides a beautiful setting for a relaxing vacation, and the staff is charming, I encountered several issues during my stay. Firstly, the transfer from the airport to the island was poorly organized. We had to wait for over 30 minutes before seeing anyone, while another couple waited for 4 hours and another couple was forgotten and had to spend the night in Male. On the return, if you have an evening flight but others have a morning flight, you have to leave with them and wait all day at the airport despite the fact that there is only a 50-minute boat ride between the airport and the resort. Personally, we waited for 5.5 hours at the airport on the return; they explained that this would allow us to complete all the formalities without rushing... Regarding the accommodations, the rooms with beach-sea view can also be misleading because those on the east side are close to the sea and are not often reserved from year to year. Also, you end up on the west side (the less beautiful side of the island) where the villas are located 300 meters from the sea... It doesn't feel like you're paying for the same vacation when you're situated on the wrong side of the island. The hotel staff is charming and helpful, especially the waiters Jakir and Tamal, who were lovely. It's always a pleasant experience to meet friendly and helpful staff members. It's important to note that everything is chargeable at Rihiveli Resort, so plan for an "all-inclusive" or "full board" stay to avoid unexpected costs. Finally, I highly recommend the excursions offered by the hotel, although they are expensive. The trip to see the fish on the coral reef, swim with sharks and turtles, and swim with dolphins are unforgettable. These activities can be very enriching and add value to your stay. Overall, Rihiveli Resort is a beautiful place to relax and enjoy the beach and ocean, but there are significant improvements to be made in terms of organization (especially with the boat transfer and allocation of rooms with beach-sea view) and transparency regarding additional fees.   Mon avis sur Rihiveli Resort est très mitigé. Bien que l'île soit paradisiaque et offre un cadre magnifique pour des vacances reposantes, ainsi que le personnel qui est charmant, j'ai rencontré plusieurs problèmes lors de mon séjour. Tout d'abord, le transfert de l'aéroport à l'île n'a pas été bien organisé. Nous avons dû attendre plus de 30 minutes avant de voir quelqu'un, tandis qu'un autre couple a attendu 4 heures et un autre couple a été oublié et a dû passer la nuit à Malé. Au retour, si vous avez un vol le soir mais que d’autres personnes ont un vol le matin, vous devez partir avec eux et attendre toute la journée à l’aéroport alors qu’il n’y a que 50 minutes de bateau entre l’aéroport et le resort – personnellement, nous avons attendu 5h30 à l’aeroport au retour ; ils nous ont expliqué que cela nous permettrait de

Rihiveli Maldives is a Resort where you can spend your holiday relaxing and enjoying nature. All very nice: Siwa cleaned our room every day and was always friendly, polite and very helpful. The guys at Water Sport were all amazing - Big Boss Blue, Fruit, Mohamed (all true friends), Haleem at reception, the Chefs and all the guys who work at the resort. All beautiful and dreamy! The most relaxing place I have ever been. Don't go if you are looking for nightlife but, if you want total relaxation, nice food, fantastic snorkelling, and friendly staff, this is the place to go. Was slightly disappointed to be presented with a bill for the drinks we had before we left...apparently, as we had checked out in advance, the all inclusive was terminated. Felt a bit tight and took the gloss slightly off an incredible experience.

If Paradise exists..this island is it! The most beautiful, natural, peaceful and stunning place! Such wonderful staff too My husband and I didn’t want to leave Our most precious and perfect holiday ever Will be returning and would not look anywhere else to stay in the Maldives. Our beach Willa was lovely with the most amazing bed and pillows! We slept so well!
