Fergus Club Mallorca Waterpark

Wow where to start, the food poisoning from the buffet or the fungus my son got horrendously from the freezing cold pools. The local doctor confirmed that fungus of the genitals was common from these pools. Lovely! Every kid in the pool turned blue and shivered to get out after seconds. Our room was right next to the disco area so none of us could sleep until after 11pm. Just awful. Avoid!

We arrived and stood for about an hour n half to check in, we were then told that after a 6 am flight we were not able to get into our rooms until after 3:30pm so we had to find something to do for 3 hours. all staff are friendly, all understand and can speak English clearly. The hotel is clean and bigger than I expected, lots of pools but don't bring or buy any large floats, your not allowed to play with them, we had large rubber rings and we were told we weren't allowed them in the pool, good job I had brought them with me and not paid for them. The kids were just below 120cm and they were not allowed on the slides, which is disappointing really has I've got kids that love big slides. Food wise, if your a burger/sausage and chips kind of eater then perfect for you but I do prefer a bit more taste and flavour in the food and like to try different things on holiday but choice of food was below average. TV in the room has Netflix WiFi around the hotel is really good. Beach is a close 5/10 minute walk. Aswel as McDonald's,.KFC burger king, your right in the middle of the town so not far from anything. I'd definitely go away, will be perfect when the kids are just that bigger to go on the slides

Cheap & Cheerful.... We had read reviews before going, so we didn't expect too much.... but a late holiday was needed 😌 We were pleasantly surprised. It's a basic 3* in my opinion. Food - like a school canteen - pasta, burgers, hotdogs & nugs for kids. Lots of fresh salad. Specials change everyday - and usually arent replenished as fast as other foods - and people push in the queue. Standard holiday cakes for desert. Cheap sausages for breakfast, weird bacon.... eggs and all the traditional continental stuff. Cheap & Cheerful Pizza van - fab pizza, but slice sizes vary. Burger/chip van - good stuff, long queues at times Bars - be prepared to queue, however if you ask for a big glass of wine...they will give it to you. We saw lots of people slipping the bar staff €'s for special treatment..... you may wanna try the same...... Entertainment- not awful, kids club during the day, mini disco 8.15-9.15, and a show every night 9.15...sometimes it finishes 10.15pm.... sometimes 11pm.... (I couldn't work it out) Pools - clean, cold (april) and inflatables are NOT ALLOWED 🚫 (Just a heads up as we saw lots of tears from kiddos over the past week) Slides are good, well managed. Rooms - clean, spacious. Staff work hard. Cheap & Cheerful 😊 if you go with that in mind, then you won't be disappointed

I don’t ever wrote reviews but after booking and then reading the reviews on here I was very sceptical, however I don’t think the hotel is given enough credit, you get what you pay for! No it’s not 5 star luxury but me, my partner and 2 children aged 4 and 7 have had a great time. Rooms are minimal but bright, beds are comfy and it was cleaned and tidied every day and we were given fresh towels daily. There are 3 great large pool areas and we tried them all out, all have bars close enough, are all manned well and clean! Food isn’t as repetitive as I thought, it’s fresh and there’s plenty to go around and enough choice in my opinion. Entertainment wise, we only stayed up with the kids until around 9pm each night but they enjoyed it. There’s lots to do in the area too, we strolled to the beach and also enjoyed a night at the Pirates Adventureland. If you’re looking for a cheap and cheerful break, this hotel is ideal. It’s not the 5 star we are used to but actually, having 2 boisterous, messy and loud kids lol, it’s more than ideal. Again, you get what you pay for and I think we got a bargain!

We had a lovely all-inclusive stay at Fergus Club Mallorca Waterpark over the easter holiday. We arrived around 8am on a Sunday morning, there were only a couple of people in the queue at reception so we got checked in fairly quickly, reception checked with room service and confirmed our room would be ready early at 12:00. We put a small deposit down on pool towels and were able to put our bags in locker rooms. My 2 girls (9 & 10) were straight in the pool and we were able to start relaxing on the beds. It was good to see that they have a policy of removing towels left on empty beds for 40 Mins, as it meant there were no reserved beds & a good selection across the 3 pool areas. The room was clean, big enough, modern enough & had everything we expected and needed. The Buffet was busy at times, but the food was good, well-cooked, and there was a good selection. We ate out one night of our stay just to have something different. Pizza van by the main pool was dangerous as there was never a queue and always hot pizza, which tasted better than at the buffet, so I found myself visiting perhaps more than I should have (tougher at the gym working that off since we returned). Evening entertainment was OK, it kept us entertained, and didn't go on too late. Drinks at the bar were good, the beer was San Miguel according to the taps & was always cold + didn't taste watered down. The water park was great, everything was open and running, all slides were good, not much of a queue for any of them, the yellow one is taller than it looks, especially when up at the top (good thing I have no issue with heights). My kids stayed on the slides, pools & bouncy cushion for hours each day. We noticed that at times when big coach loads of people turned up there were long queues at reception, understandable as it takes check-in staff a certain amount of time to check each family in, there were usually 2-3 staff at the desks, so my advice is get a taxi or private transfer rather than shared coach to beat others arriving at the same time. Taxi was €50 from the airport taxi rank & 20 mins, on the way back we got an uber as advised by the reception staff which was €45 despite a little heavier traffic & closer to 30 mins drive. We had a couple of days where it was a little bit cloudy or rainy in the morning, but it always seemed to burn off in the afternoon. We found just outside the hotel & 2 mins walk along the road there was a mini theme park called Katmandu, which we booked on their website for a discount vs on the door and were surprised to find they gave us 10 credits to use over as many days as we liked so we went there for the last 3 mornings for crazy golf, some 4d rides and their wonky house was good too. Also, the hotel was close to the beach & nightlife, with some nice family-friendly bars in close proximity.

If you like queuing, this is the hotel for you!! There's only one tiny buffet restaurant for your 3 meals (unless you pay a bunch extra, so much for all inclusive) for the whole hotel! After 9pm there's only one bar (again, 2 if you upgrade) with one person serving, for the whole hotel! Lovely queue!! The food, when you get it, is fairly basic - not much variety. The rooms aren't bad I suppose, with a separate room for parents, kids sleep on sofa, only reason I rate it as high as a 3, but it's really a 2.5 (nowhere near the 4 that Jet2 gave it) I can't comment on the pools as they were too cold at the time of year we went (April) Quite dissatisfied on the whole
