A good hotel to stay in cnveniently situated in a positioned place with all local places to visit and a pub serving meals next door. Easy check in and ample parking. Place is a little dated and one or two signs of wear. Be ideal for mattresses to have a protective cover over them and not just a bed sheet.

Appalling customer service and awful rooms We stayed in a family room that was non smoking but it smelt of smoke as soon as we entered the room, the central heating didn’t work and were left with a small electric plug in heater. Despite this, we stayed the night as it was too late to find somewhere else. When we checked out and travelled 4 hours back home we realised we had left our sons baby blanket in the room so we called the receptionist who was very unhelpful and didn’t seem very concerned or bothered as he did not even ask what the blanket looked like. He claimed he went to look in the room and could not see it but he would talk to housekeeping in the morning as they had already left. We got no call back and so I had to chase next morning to which I was told that house keeping had thrown the blanket in the trash as they thought it was dirty. It was clearly a baby blanket and very sentimental to my son so why would you not keep it in lost property? I asked them to look for it in the bin and the receptionist said there was too much trash to see it, I am absolutely disgusted with the lack of respect or policy for lost and found items, throwing it away without holding onto it for at least a day or something? Now I will have to tell my son his baby blanket has been thrown away which he will be extremely upset about, this is horrendous customer service never stay here!

Awful Room was untidy, So hot you couldnt sleep, reception didnt have no fans available when asked, room was dirty, smelly and very loud
