Como Cocoa Island - Partner Travels Free for 7 Nights or More

Our transfer from OBLU to COMO Cocoa was seemless. We absolutely loved COMO Cocoa - it was exceptional. The service from everyone was meticulous. We were in a Dhoni water villa perfect for two and such easy access to the ocean. Fresh fruit and snacks are provided each day with water and soft drinks, tea and coffee. The food in the restaurant was outstanding - Michelin star quality. All the staff were amazing and very easy to talk to. They had noted my pork intolerance and anything with pork was noted on the menu. They were more than happy to provide alternatives. Alcohol is not cheap but you are on a remote island in the Indian Ocean! The resort was not at full capacity so it felt very exclusive. We used the hydrotherapy pool each day and had it to ourselves. Snorkelling was good but coral damaged earlier this year. I am not a confident swimmer so kept close to the beach side of the reef but my husband ventured out. The sand bank was an amazing feature - we walked it every day and even saw a turtle in the shallows. We will definitely plan to return as in all our travels over the years, this is one of the best places we have been to. Thank you to everyone at COMO for making our stay a truly memorable one.

For the third year in a row we couldn't resist going back to COMO Cocoa Island. There is a reason why so many customers go back to this place: peaceful, great rooms, plenty to see and relax in pristine waters, fantastic cuisine and great staff. Saying "great staff" is not enough: everyone makes you feel like you're family, and going back every year and meet familar faces is so special (and very hard to leave!). This island is something special, it's difficult to explain here our experience in a few words or with a few pictures. Just go and try yourself and thank me later. I want to thank EVERYONE at Cocoa, first of all Wisam, who every time is so nice with us and is doing a superb job running this place (thanks again for the last two days surprise!). Thanks also to Muru, Fanny, Najmul, April, and everyone else working behind the scenes. Sorry if I can't remember everyone name! Can't wait to see you again soon. We had one of the best holidays ever. The Water Villa with a Pool was spacious and very luxurious. The food was excellent. Every meal was memorable and the outdoor dining that was arranged was also special. We enjoyed the signature massage at the spa. There are three reefs to explore so the snorkeling is very good. Saw a lot of reef fishes including sharks and turtles. Illara the resident marine biologist took us on the sunset cruise where we saw dolphins and also guided us on snorkeling. Very friendly and extremely professional and passionate about marine life. Our Butler Natey, Ravi/Sithin/Blu/Muru and all the staff members were so kind and pleasant. The staff seem well looked after and happy and thus their service is from the heart and not forced. Bravo to Wazim and Management. We are already planning the next trip.

I cannot recommend COMO COCOA ISLAND enough. I have been lucky enough to stay at some beautiful hotels around the world for work and holidays (Four Seasons, Ritz Carlton, Capella, Waldorf, Soho House) and Como Cocoa still ranks in the very top top resorts I’ve ever stayed at. It’s the definition of quiet luxury - beautifully designed and maintained, attentive, friendly, personal but not fussy service, and all the amenities and care you’d expect in a world leading resort. Food is excellent, delicious and fresh. Menu changed regularly throughout my short stay, breakfast is top. Spa is sublime - I just did a one hour massage but it was very good and in beautiful surroundings. The shaded hydrotherapy area is such a nice place to cool off at the end of the day. Ultimate relaxation. On this trip I did 4 days at cocoa and 4 days at another resort. If I’m fortunate enough to return to the Maldives the only place I’m coming is cocoa. Huge thanks to all the fantastic staff, especially the kind and excellent bartender Ravi and the superb manager of the resort Wis. If you are trying to choose between cocoa or perhaps a bigger resort brand (as there are so many options in the Maldives) I really urge you to go with this beautiful property, you won’t regret it.

We got back from Como Cocoa Island a week ago and we had the most wonderful relaxing stay (even with a 7 month old baby). We turned up at the resort and from the word go we were made to feel very special. We landed at Male airport and were met by the Como Cocoa representative at arrivals where it was a short walk across a road to the boat. Here we got ice cold towels and a bottle of cold water which was just what was needed after a 9.5 hour flight. After 40 minutes we arrived at the resort where Wisam and his team greeted us on the jetty with coconut water and a tour around the island to get to our room. The island is small but absolute perfection. All the staff provide 12 out of 10 customer service, they really do care about the guest experience - a big thank you inparticular to Fanny, Sulthan, Anura, Nattey and of couse Wisam who ensured we had everything we needed 24/7. Our accommodation was out of this world, clean, modern yet with Maldivian touches. We based ourselves on our private terrace most days to enjoy the view whilst our baby boy could nap in the shade or in his baby travel cot which was provided by Como Cocoa Island. The food every single day was incredible- delicious and beautifully presented but not forgetting to mention the weaning menu they also provided for our little boy who was well and truly spoiled and looked after. We would also highly recommend enjoying the dishes on the themed night dinners too. Even though we didn't snorkel much just seeing the fish, sharks, rays and turtles from the jetty was incredible. We also enjoyed a massage at the spa each which we both said was one of the best massages we have had and the inside pool area is also beautiful. Overall, it was an unforgettable first family holiday with our baby boy and we hope to be back very soon! Thank you to the team at Como Cocoa Island! We miss you already! Holly, Stefan & Ellis

Like my review title indicates this was an experience of a lifetime. Diving in the Maldives had been on my bucket list. My wife and I spent nights at this resort. On arrival we were greeted with multiple staff members sporting smiles and coconut drinks for us. We cannot say one negative thing about our stay with COMO. The food was amazing with special meal preparations courtesy of Chef Ketut Dika. The restaurant manager, Dewa Hindra, was always there to greet us and make us feel welcome and cater to our every desire. Our villa butler, Ishmael, visited our villa twice a day and promptly kept all clean and tidy and always left us with abundant supplies of all that we needed. My divemaster, Sharkey, who is appropriately named, guided me on 11 dives and showed me the best of the reefs and marine wildlife that Cocoa Island had to offer. The dive boat was very comfortable and on all but except one of my dives I was the only customer/diver on the boat but there were four crew. Every other member of the resort staff were always friendly, helpful, and greeted us with a smile. COMO intentionally limits their guest list to promote guest satisfaction. This is not typical, certainly in the case of large hotel resorts. By the time we left we were totally spoiled. If you are planning a dive vacation or just a get away vacation this is the place to go.
