I went to stay here for a night with my mum, on arrival we were upgraded by the lovely GM. Our room was gorgeous , quirky and comfortable., we also had a free bottle of lovely wine. The whole place is spotlessly clean and the staff were so friendly and helpful. We ate in the adjoining bar and the food and service were great. The breakfast in the main restaurant was excellent, great variety, it was hard to decide as there was so much choice. I would definitely recommend this hotel, it’s central, directly opposite the lovely little harbour and I am planning to return in September for a longer visit. Thank you to all for making our stay so special.

A lovely experience....thank you! The Monkey Island room was fantastic and the staff were wonderful. A beautiful stopover on our (slow) SWCP ramble. Food was good in the Galley and Breakfast was a treat too. Highly recommended....we'll return for sure.

A big, although rather belated, thank you to Cavin, Darren and the rest of the staff for making our wedding day such a memorable occassion. We had a 'small gathering' wedding, and from the moment we arrived on Friday afternoon we were well looked after. The ceremony was held in The Galley, which was just right to create the intimate and relaxed atmosphere that we wanted. Our wedding meal was amazing and the service from all the staff was first class. The location of the hotel was great for photos and even the weather was good! We enjoyed staying in the Braunton Suite, which was spacious and nicely furnished, with a great view of the harbour and sea. We appreciated the extra touches of a bottle of wine on arrival and a bottle of fizz at the end of the day. It all contributed to a fantastic wedding weekend for us and our guests. Thanks again! Such potential but sadly failed in so many areas . Clare in the restaurant was fab . Poor breakfast and no coffee !!!! Rooms ok but hot and no reception staff made it tricky to talk to anyone about anything - never saw a manager and feel totally understaffed .

The Bath Hotel is a great location of Lynmouth, we stayed in a king sea view room, good size, very clean, and facilities. Can’t fault the room, the receptionist was welcoming and polite. Nice touches of cooled water and milk. My only comments were about breakfast, the man could have done with some assistance filling up the juices, milk, bread etc. as there were simply not enough plus we heard the mention about no coffee, just decaf? He was very polite but needed someone to offer some help as our simple breakfast took ages to come, and was probably one of the most disappointing breakfasts on the second morning. Eggs & Bacon were overdone so some improvement could be made Saying that if we were ever in the area we would stay again And we had no issues parking in the peak season, so don’t let this put you off! Thanks again

Undoubtedly one of the quaintest and quirky hotels we have ever stayed in really clean and homely. Staff were all very pleasant and helpful and the food in both the restaurant and next door pub were very good and reasonably priced. The room was very comfortable and very clean overall a very nice few days away and would recommend to anyone else thinking of staying.

Fantastic place fantastic hotel. We stayed at the bath hotel in the poet room from the 17th to the 19th of July. Witch was a beautiful room with old fasioned chest of draws with a writing table. The staff were extremely friendly and very welcoming. The only thing is I wish it had curtains insted of blinds. The location is very pretty with a short walk to the beach. The bar next door called the ancient mariner witch i belive is the hotels bar and restaurant has the best steak and ale pie I've ever tasted. Will definitely book again in the future

Rooms aren’t bad but the staff are horrible here. We asked and paid for a bottle of wine and had to argue with the staff for 5 minutes before they had to check their system and see that we had bought a bottle and not a glass after being repeatedly told that ‘we weren’t going to get anything for free’.
