Family lunch 6 adults 4 children & 2 dogs All week looked after and feed Excellent services Staff moved all tables together and made us most welcome

Never been to lymington and so decided to lunch here on off chance. Have to say the chips are up there with the best I have had - ham was beautiful and eggs really yolky. My partner had the fish and chips which he said was superb - staff were friendly and attentive too - would definitely recommend.

We had a very enjoyable stay at the Mayflower. The room was spacious and welcoming, with all the provisions provided. Bed very comfy. The service was second to none, fantastic customer service and all the staff were so polite, friendly and helpful. Will definitely return.

Shabby chic gone shabby
The overall condition of the hotel was appalling, from the minute you draw up outside and then climb the stairs to the overrated oddly decorated room. The staff were beyond amazing and the food was excellent, and the room itself was spotless. Such a shame about the initial sight, and the filthy hall and stair carpet. And the lack of any comfort in the bedroom except for the bed. And why is the bathroom mirror almost on the ceiling? All I could see was my forehead. It was a perfect situation for a lovely stay. What a shame it is going to rack and ruin.

Fantastic staff - friendly, efficient and helpful. Good food. Room had character and open view. Pleasant property near the Marina with own parking. Good base for Beaulieu, Exbury Gardens and Hurst Castle plus IOW ferry port just a short driving distance away. Quiet location with easy walk to Lymington centre.

Excellent stay & exceptional staff.
Excellent stay - the location is great and a nice walk to the town centre & Quayside as well as an easy drive through the New Forest - the room was lovely & spacious & the bed extremely comfortable! The shower was one of the best hotel showers I have used! The food was excellent especially the breakfast - and finally the staff, they were brilliant!!!!!! At times the pub was very busy yet the staff were always kind & cheerful & the service they gave was exceptional - I would highly recommend staying here!!!

Lovely hotel/restaurant. the rooms are stylish and 100% to my liking they offer a breakfast in the morning and if you ask they will reserve you table when booking, which i think is refreshing and different to first come first serve. the staff were very lovely especially the assistant manager James when we arrived he welcomed us with a warm smile and assisted us when we needed.. we stayed for dinner, i had the burger and for the prices the food was amazing definitely will recommend.

This was the first of many b&B's we stayed at on our UK trip and it was the best and the only one that I would actually recommend to people. The breakfast was really delicious.
