The Lyle Hotel

Quiet and comfortable set up and perfect for the self-sufficient traveler who doesn’t want to be fussed over. Torn about the bar & restaurant no longer operating as it might have been less quiet. I arrived by bicycle and was able to lock up in the fenced in patio (you cannot see through the fence) with no issue. Unfortunately the rooms are not accessible to those with mobility challenges as they are upstairs and this old, restored building has not elevator. Thoughtfully set up and I imagine that even when booked up there is plenty of common area to share, and indoors and out. Actual bike rack to lock up at would be nice as wood more hooks in bathrooms and rooms (my room had no closet). The trains make themselves known but I wasn’t bothered. Would return.

I loved this little hotel from the Herman miller pendants in the restaurant to the everything you need in its proper place in the petite room. Great bed pillows coffee maker ,space for clothes in closet, nice toiletries, complimentary bag , easy elegant walking shower and great helpful staff. Nice neighborhood-. If you need a lot space, this is probably not right for u( ran into neighbor who was leaving with large husband but for me traveling on my own , it was perfect.

My fault for not asking for more info! Because of my age the stairs were a little difficult but I made it! The bed was the highlight of my overnight stay !wonderful comfort! Also did not realize you weren’t fully open! But thanks for the amazing sleep! Also enjoyed the beautiful and thoughtful surroundings! Thank you!
