With sacred Mount Phousi as its backdrop Amantaka lies in the centre of picturesque Luang Prabang - Laos spiritual capital. White-walled and green-shuttered the period building retains all the genteel tranquillity of its French-Colonial past with private pools and an expansive spa meeting the needs of contemporary travellers. Taking its name from tipitaka meaning the teaching of the Buddha Amantaka supplies guests with myriad suggestions for cultural and spiritual immersion in Luang Prabang a UNESCO World Heritage Site - from giving alms to monks at dawn to navigating the fabled Mekong on Amantakas boat.
The spa offers holistic massages - body treatments and healing therapies utilising Aman Spas unique chemical-free products.
Laos and French fare feature prominently on the menus served in the white-walled Dining Room or open-air Pool Terrace.
Traditional Laos floral arrangements and music enhance occasions of all kinds whether a private dinner or poolside Laos-style barbecue.

Laos is not a rich country, but luxury hotels seem to be particularly fond of this country, especially Luang Prabang. Among them is Amantaka, which is a must-visit for Aman enthusiasts.
During my half month in Laos, I experienced all the good hotels in this country. As expected, Amantaka is the best. The noble experience begins when the front office manager personally drives to the previous hotel to pick you up. The appearance of every customer service person in the entire hotel seems to be strictly controlled. They are all pure and peaceful, so that wherever you walk in the hotel and meet the staff, you will see the pure and kind smiling faces, which will calm your heart. ,slow down. Although the hotel is located in the center of the city, it is quiet amidst the hustle and bustle. The hotel provides free shuttle tutu service to facilitate guests to explore the ancient city; it also thoughtfully provides free afternoon tea and laundry services. After swimming, you can use the steam and sauna rooms, and the facilities are well equipped. Monks will pass by the hotel entrance, and the hotel will provide free supplies and sticky rice to guests who want to experience alms. The hotel also gives guests woven bags and hats as souvenirs. It was an unforgettable and perfect experience in Amman Targah, and I hope to come back next time for a sunset cruise.
In the millennium old capital of Luang Prabang, there is a unique and modern old-fashioned architectural style hotel - the Lan Xiang Boutique Hotel. The hotel has a superior geographical location and convenient transportation; The hotel covers an area of nearly 7 acres and has spacious and comfortable boutique rooms, each room with an independent and spacious balcony; 180 square meter super large swimming pool, allowing you to enjoy sports fun to the fullest; Two parking lots in front and behind, capable of parking at least 30 beloved cars; The hotel has a wide view, offering a panoramic view of Phu Shuang mountain which is the highest point in Luang Prabang, awakening a beautiful day from nature. Lan Xiang Boutique Hotel is elegant and peaceful, working together with a high-quality service team to ensure that you enjoy delicate care during your stay. Lan Xiang Boutique Hotel in Luang Prabang welcomes you!

The spacious and bright room and the courtyard swimming pool are surrounded by distant mountains. It is a great place for a vacation. The boss's attentive service is touching. He arranged a free one-day tour with full explanations to give us a deeper understanding of the Lao people. The recommended restaurant has delicious food. Thank you for taking our family to participate in the charity at 5:30 on New Year's Day. I wish the boss good luck in the Year of the Snake and a prosperous business.
Vientiane, Vangvieng, Luang Prabang, we stayed in Vientiane for 8 days. I am most satisfied with this hotel. The decoration and hardware of the new hotel are very good. It is opened by a Chinese and it is very convenient for consultation. The boss, Ah Hui, was very nice. He picked us up and dropped us off, and even sent us a car to take us back to the high-speed rail station. If you have anything you don’t know, just ask him. I will only comment if I am extremely dissatisfied or extremely satisfied. There is such a friendly Chinese hotel in Laos. It's far away from the city, not noisy, and the breakfast is also in Chinese taste. The photo was taken at the hotel, and the perspective is unparalleled. I will stay here again next time I come to Luang Prabang, and will also recommend it to relatives and friends.

The environment is good. It is the third-ranked luxury hotel. The service attitude is much better than that of Luang Prabang Hotel. The service awareness is very strong. Even if the hotel can be reached within two steps, a sightseeing bus will be arranged. There are not many types of self-service breakfast, but the taste is good.
Sitting on the bed, you can see the scenery outside the window. The weather has been cold recently, so a small sun is provided for heating.
There are two shortcomings. One is that the pillow is a bit soft and not very comfortable. The other is the hygiene of the toilet and bedding. There are some flaws. Overall, it is great.
We believe that the attentive service and top-notch amenities of the Banyan Resort will make your stay in Luang Prabang an unforgettable experience. Our hotel is located on the banks of the Mekong River. There are many attractions nearby, including Pusi Market, Wat Phra Battai and Kaysone Phomvihane Monument. And the hotel is very close to the ancient night market of Luang Prabang and conveniently located. The hotel has a free shuttle bus to the night market in Luang Prabang ancient city. The hotel is decorated in the rooms, each well-equipped room is equipped with an umbrella and LCD TV. For travelers who have a drinking water need, the hotel also provides you with an electric kettle and a coffee / tea maker. In addition to this, a bathroom equipped with slippers and 24 hour hot water is a great place to eliminate the fatigue of the day. Ordering a cup at a coffee shop to eliminate the fatigue of the day is a good relaxing option for travelers. If you prefer a quiet meal, the hotel can provide room delivery. If the hotel's dining doesn't satisfy your discerning taste buds, try the excellent recommended cuisine at nearby Le Tam Tam Garden, Un Petit Nid (Asian) or Satri House Restaurant (Southeast Asian). The hotel's wide range of leisure facilities can create a variety of leisure space for everyone staying here, including massage rooms and fitness rooms. The hotel's conference hall and business center provide excellent service, which is why many business travelers choose to stay here. Foreign travelers can learn about local customs and culture through the multi-lingual staff.

This is my second visit after visiting with my family about a month ago. I remembered the warm experience I had at this hotel last time, so I came back again. There must be many guests coming in and out of the hotel, and I was touched that everyone I met recognized me and said “Welcome back.” I am very grateful to Yong, Lith, Muhn, Mone, and the two female hoteliers who were in charge of dinner on 5/25 for their hospitality. (I should have asked everyone's names, but it's too bad I didn't.) And the information about becoming a monk during the morning Takbat. I am also sincerely grateful to the male hotelier who kindly and in detail explained about the Ina Lao people. I think I will visit Laos again on my last trip before returning to my home country because of the warm memories I had in Avani. I look forward to seeing you again.
Located on the outskirts of Luang Prabang old town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Rosewood Luang Prabang features individually designed air-conditioned accommodations accompanied by views of waterfall, river and hillside.
The resort design tells a story of cultural fusion and adventure, drawing inspiration from the history of French explorers in Laos and local tribes. This is reflected in the eclectic mix of design elements, from vintage travel trunks and antique furnishings to maps and other artifacts that make each accommodation distinctive, blending French colonial aesthetics with Laotian craftsmanship. All rooms come with free WiFi, while some villas have a private pool.
At Rosewood Luang Prabang, The Great House serves Western and Laotian cuisines with vegan and gluten-free options available on request, while afternoon cocktails can be enjoyed at The Elephant Bridge Bar overlooking the river. Guests can relax at the oval-shaped pool with daybeds and cabanas.
Traditional Laotian spa treatments and massages are offered at Sense Spa, where 3 separate tented spa villas are nestled along the hillside. A variety of popular activities are available in the area including trekking, mountain-biking, cultural tours of Luang Prabang, visits to ethical elephant or bear sanctuaries as well as Mekong river cruises.
Speaking English, French and Lao, staff will be happy to provide guests with practical information on the area at the reception.
The town of Luang Prabang is 4.9 km from Rosewood Luang Prabang, while Wat Xieng Thong is 6.3 km away. Luang Prabang International Airport is 7 km from the property.

The decoration of the hotel has nothing to say about the hardware and software facilities. The breakfast is a la carte but the quality is very good. Because it is a family with a baby, the assigned room feels dark overall, and the child will be a little scared to take a bath; there is no TV in the room, the swimming pool is small, the overall hotel occupies a small area, and there is no fitness room, so the fun is not high. I booked a triple room, and there is an additional price of 800 RMB for an extra bed with a child, which is 4,500 per night. I feel that the price/performance ratio is a little low, and it is not a hotel suitable for parents and children. It is more suitable for couples who are good at English and can easily communicate with the housekeeper to obtain more information about hotel value-added services.

The resort is designed with great attention to details. It is quiet and yet close to town via the old French Bridge. The swimming pool is great for children and families with trees and beautiful landscapes. Swimming pool faces the river. Room is clean and well maintained. Enjoy sitting on the balcony of the villa unit.
There is a newly opened Japanese Restaurant 88 Sushi Bar across the river. Food and service is good quality and price is reasonable.

Environment: The exterior is very beautiful
Service: The staff is welcoming and provides iced drinks and wet towels during check-in and waiting, which is very thoughtful
Facilities: The room has all the functions it should have. Some design flaws. The bathroom is separated into dry and wet areas. The door of the bathroom pushes the floor towel to the side. The longer it is pushed, the farther it is. Even long legs can't reach the floor towel. You can only come out barefoot. The water in the bathroom drains very slowly. There is water accumulation. The hot water supply is not sufficient.

We are very happy with our stay at the Sofitel of Luang Prabang, very warm welcome from the arrival until our departure.
This is a very quiet and relaxing hotel with plenty of serene atmosphere, which we were looking forward to get during our stay. As it is a bit out of the city center with 5 minutes drive or 10 minutes by tuktuk, they do offer free shuttles from 6pm to 9:30pm to town or back.
Courteous staff, helpful and friendly people.
Breakfast is simple, not gargantuan, sufficient enough, they offer free 5 minutes massage when you arrive for breakfast if you desire to have one…
The pool and garden are beautiful and well maintained.
All in all, good values and good vibes from this place, we will return and recommend it to our friends to go.

NNancyAlready the second time I stayed here, Belmond was very popular because of the activities. The pool is also the most beautiful in Luangprabang. It is especially good to watch the sunset. Excellent quality and intimate service, as well as food, two breakfasts and dinners, were deeply impressed. If you want a quiet leisure time, this is a good choice.
GGuest UserEnvironment: rice fields, cicadas chirping, but no mosquitoes beside the paddy fields. Waking up early to bask in the warmth of the swimming pool with a hint of coolness in the morning, looking at the green rice fields, the mist-shrouded mountains in the distance, the clear blue sky and white clouds, I felt that there was a vivid memory on my life list.
Room: The air conditioning is sufficient and there is no noise. There is also a fragrance system, and the high roof space makes people relax. The equipment is well-equipped and very new. I fell asleep on the first night without much fuss as I was in an area where bed trouble was most common when I was on a business trip.
Service and breakfast: Very welcoming. There was a problem with the hot water on the first night. I called the front desk and sent someone to fix it immediately. There is a free shuttle to town. The breakfast is rich, especially the local millet noodles.
Overall review: :) I don’t want to give a good review, because I’m afraid you might raise the price next time if you know more.
XXianglingThere are many hotels in Luang Prabang, each with its own characteristics. This hotel was renovated from the former home of the Lao prince. Although there are not many rooms, the public areas are very rich and it is an ideal place for vacation. The breakfast is great, with a Chinese menu. The waiter is very polite and thoughtful. After ordering rice noodles, the chili sauce that Chinese people love is immediately delivered, which really won my heart 🤗. The various breads for breakfast are also very delicious. People who don’t like bread have to eat two pieces every day! The front desk service is also standardized online, and the male waiters are generally more enthusiastic! The room cleaning is very thoughtful and meticulous, at least twice a day, keeping the room clean and tidy at all times! On the first day, the tip was placed on the bedside table, but they didn’t take it. On the second day, it was specially placed on the quilt and taken away. It can be seen that the service training is still very strict! The room is large and comfortable to live in. The bedding and bath towels are very comfortable! Talk about the shortcomings. The room is not very soundproof. The waiter cleans outside in the morning, and the sound is very clear. If you live downstairs, the sound upstairs is very clear. If you encounter people who go to bed late and get up early, it will affect the quality of rest downstairs. Another point is that the hotel does not have a pick-up service. Many hotels will provide pick-up and drop-off services within the town at any time, or even pick-up and drop-off services at the airport and high-speed rail. In addition, the hotel is a little off-site. It takes more than 20 minutes to walk to any place. It is impossible to walk under the scorching sun. You need to take a tuk-tuk every time. The price of tuk-tuks in Luang Prabang has skyrocketed in recent years. Even if you only take a five-minute ride, the starting price is 20,000 per person (about 6 yuan in total), and it is calculated per person. It is more expensive than taking a taxi in any major city in China! When going to the high-speed rail station, the price of the hotel's delivery is 25 US dollars, and I immediately ordered a 99 yuan delivery service on Mafengwo. Except for the fact that I was not satisfied with the trip, the hotel vacation was really good, and I should go there again in the future.

GGuest UserThe room was very damp and unhygienic, with rips everywhere. There was no Wi-Fi in the room, but I bought a phone card so I could use it. The breakfast was terrible... and the breakfast staff spoke very poor English. And because we were the only guests, we ordered food and there was no buffet. I couldn't finish my fried rice and packed it up to take it home for lunch, but they didn't pack it up. The shuttle bus schedule was also weird, with very few shifts. Anyway, the environment is very, very beautiful and worth staying for one night, but only for one night
GGuest UserA five-star hotel with a retro style. The building is a very distinctive French colonial style. The breakfast is great. The facilities are a little old, but it's not a big problem. It's very clean. The service staff speaks fluent English and is very warm and polite. The location is also quite convenient. It takes 15 minutes to walk to the center. There are also places to rent motorcycles nearby. It is worth recommending!
GGuest UserThe service is great! From the moment I walked in, I felt full of warmth and enthusiasm. The room is clean and tidy, with complete facilities. The room decoration style is the local solid wood feature. The environment is quiet and comfortable, and the bedding is also clean. The boss is very enthusiastic and helped to arrange pick-up and drop-off. It's so thoughtful🏡. It's super comfortable to stay! There is also a great infinity pool. There is also Labang specialty beer🍺 for sale in the hotel lobby. Drinking a little beer and enjoying the beautiful scenery of the setting sun is a good scenery line. It is highly recommended to check in for self-driving tours! 🌟
