Our trip to Louisville was an amazing trip because of Allen. Allen, the Inn owner, greeted us and made us feel like family from the moment we arrived. The details he puts into his drinks and breakfasts will make you come back year after year. The Louisville Bourbon Inn is beautiful and very clean. We enjoyed the Bourbon Tour during our stay. We will definitely be returning in the future. Allen has become an honorary family member to us since our visit.

Louisville Bourbon Inn is absolutely GORGOUS! The natural wood is beautiful. Very clean. The host was fabulous. He was very kind and attentive. Always making sure we were comfortable. The breakfast he fixed us was delicious. I would rate this as a 20 if I could. Thank you for caring for you customers. I will return soon

Allen is the jewel in the crown that is the Louisville Bourbon Inn! His home is warm and welcoming. It was easy to relax and unwind in the comfortable surroundings. You can taste the love in Allen’s deliciously thoughtful, beautifully presented breakfasts. Of note, his gravy is on point! Our suite was perfectly appointed and conducive to a restful night’s sleep. Allen loves sharing his knowledge of the area and can help you with sightseeing or dinner plans. Louisville is lucky to have Allen and The Louisville Bourbon Inn, both reflect stellar hospitality that make you long to return to this old Kentucky home.

This was my first time to stay in a B&B so I have no comparison. However, if they are all like this one I will always stay at a B&B. The owner was top notch and paid attention to every detail. He provided good insight into the Bourbon industry and makes a great Old Fashion drink. The house is immaculate and the accommodations were very comfortable and spacious. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a calm, sophisticated experience which made our bourbon tour that much better. We will go back.

My stay was Jeff and Allen was amazing. It was my first time in Kentucky and my first time at a bed-and-breakfast. I am now forever changed. Allen‘s breakfast was amazing. The room that we stayed at was gorgeous. Jeff and Allen really do put in time and effort to make sure everyone’s stay is wonderful and relaxing. We also had a bourbon Trail tour arranged by them and I can’t say enough how great it was of an experience. if you’re not interested in the bourbon trails, just staying on this property is a great weekend getaway, the neighborhood at Saint James Court is great for an afternoon stroll. If you are considering them, this is your sign to book your stay. You won’t regret it!

We stayed in the Carriage House, so had use of the living room and kitchen as well as our suite. Host was helpful and insured we had everything we needed. The breakfasts were very good and served in a beautiful dining room. My only suggestion is to remove the small rug with turned up edges in the bathroom, an accident waiting to happen!

Jeff and Allen made our experience wonderful!!! The beds were super comfortable. They were both very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was amazing!!! Jeff gave us tips on places to eat and things to do. We never felt unwelcome or like we were a bother. We will be returning!! One hundred percent recommend The Bourbon Inn as the place to stay in Louisville.

Perfect location in a quiet part of Old Louisville. One block from bus to take you downtown. House is a lovely Victorian mansion- old wood, large rooms, comfy bedding and modern plumbing. Host is welcoming and helpful and a wonderful chef making delicious breakfasts and killer old fashioneds.

We were warmly greeted by Allen upon our arrival at this beautiful inn. The accommodations were fantastic, as well as the hospitality (food and drink). It has true southern charm. Would give our experience 10 stars if we could. Loved, loved, loved our stay and our host.
