As has been mentioned by others, the first thing that hits you as enter the front door is the smell of grease and other unmentionable things. If I could have afforded it I would have turned straight round and left, but as I had already paid I couldn’t. The positives are it’s location, as we were going to Chelsea Flower Show, and the bed sheets and duvet were clean as were the towels. Everything else was not up to the mark, there was a damp smell coming from the en-suite, probably due to the leaking cistern every time it was flushed, which didn’t happen with every turn of the handle and then you had to wait for it to fill up before trying again. The wallpaper was pealing it quite a few places and a big damp patch on the ceiling, probably due to the toilet leaking as it was directly above ours. It had tried to be concealed by a makeshift curtain but had obviously gotten bigger as we could see it clearly. You couldn’t turn the bedside lights on or off without getting out of bed and reaching behind the bed on my side. I can’t comment on the breakfasts as my wife refused to partake due to the aforementioned smell emanating from downstairs. We wouldn’t have been able to anyway on the first occasion as it was only being served from 8-9 and we had to be at Chelsea by 8. If you have room 3 like we did it can be difficult to get to sleep as the windows and curtains do not keep out the noise of traffic and the flashing of the crossing lights just outside. I will leave it at that, so unless you are on a really tight budget, give it a miss.
