Great Location, Comfortable Stay – but Get Ready for Some Stairs! We stayed at Berjaya Eden Park London Hotel and loved its fantastic location, just steps away from Bayswater Station. It made getting around London incredibly easy – ideal for both first-timers and frequent visitors. The room size was decent, perfectly suited for two people. Comfortable and clean, it offered all the essentials for a pleasant stay. However, one thing to note – reaching the room involves navigating quite a few stairs. If you're traveling with heavy luggage, be prepared for a bit of a workout. There's charm in the old building’s layout, but accessibility might be a consideration for some guests. Overall, great value for the location, and a solid choice if you're okay with climbing a bit!

Berjaya Eden is very near to Queensway and Bayswater station. You'll need to carry your luggage up some stairs, but it's manageable. Alternatively drag your luggage for about 20 minutes to/from Paddington station. Hotel is in a student and touristy area near to Kensington and Hyde Parks. You can walk to Portobello street (Notting Hill movie) and even Holland Park. Rooms are serviced by an old elevator which can accommodate 2 persons with luggage. Checking in was easy and you have to pay a refundable £50 deposit. The manager helped us with our heavy luggage when he saw us approaching the hotel entrance. Our original room was located quite a distance from the lift. He gave us a room near the lift without our asking. We didn't get to thank him as he had some matter to attend to. Room was clean with comfortable bed. A tower type fan provided as there's no aircon. Won't be adequate during the summer months. Shower area was good enough for us but larger guests will find it crammed. Hot water was instantaneous and easily controlled. Buffet breakfast starts from 8am and it's Malaysian and Continental. The restaurant is called Med (Mat) Salleh and run by two Malaysian ladies from Ipoh. The Malaysian breakfast was good especially the fried chicken wings. You get all the 3 parts of the wing instead of just the drumlet served elsewhere. Yummy! Restaurant is popular with Malaysian tourists and government/business persons. Malaysian Royalty have even visited Med Salleh restaurant. There are many restaurants, cafes, pubs and supermarkets near the hotel. You won't go hungry except your wallet will be lighter if your currency is much lower than the British Pound. Checking out was just as easy and the deposit refunded to your credit card on the same day. You can also leave your luggage if you still have time before catching the train to Heathrow or elsewhere. You can catch the train to Heathrow from Paddington via Elizabeth Line or the TFL Line. Elizabeth Line cost more but is more comfortable, less stops and with enough space for your luggage.

Overall a great hotel with a 5mins walk to The tranquil Hyde park.

No bidet. Has wifi. Small elevator can only accommodate 2 people. No airconditioner so I opened the windows to let some air in the room. Nicely located beside Kensington gardens, there are places to eat and grocery around it.

Nice hotel.. easy to transport to everywhere via Underground or buses.. Will repeat agsin!

Worst hotel experience. What they show and what they give is completely deceiving. The room was small and dirty. Had dent marks and not properly cleaned. No one on reception to contact and smelly corridors. Stay away from this hotel

Strategic location which is very near to the tube station (Bayswater), but this tube station has no lift, not convenient for those with big luggage. The hotel room is quite small, the wall is also very thin, and you can listen to the noise from neighbours. The corridor is also very narrow. Overall, it is a good stay for those who need a budget hotel and with easy access to tube station.

A very convenient place with a lot restaurants surrounding, can travel easily with public transport and big park nearby for a pleasant walk. Recommended for stay but room a little bit small.

Overall is still great! But the lift is small not suitable for more than one person. The room is small (especially the toilet) and old facilities. Not suitable for long stay. The surrounding of the hotel is really convenient, 1 minutes to the Bayswater station. And there are supermarkets and restaurants around the hotel.

Stayed here for three nights this week. Hotel is overall clean etc but could do with an update here and there. The lift is tiny as well, so be aware if you have any large luggage. Our room was small but ok and a little noisy from the street with it being single pane windows, ear plugs helped! The room was also very very hot, could do with an air cooler / conditioner fitting in there in the future. Luckily I brought a little fan with me. Other things to note, you cannot drink the tap water, but reception will provide you with bottled water if needed. A £50 deposit is also taken on check in and is apparently returned to you after check out (hoping I really do get this back as I’ve seen complaint reviews about it not being returned!) Didn’t really encounter many staff members, but the guy on reception was friendly and helpful. Would probably stay here again.

The television and air conditioner doesn't work. Even I report these problems to the service providers. He just reported they will arranged to make a repair on next day. However, no repairs made after I come back to the hotel room until I leave.

Great location. Easily accessible. Plenty of halal food. Med Salleh Kopitiam linked to the hotel was a great eatery for Malaysian dishes.
