非常不錯，酒店設施也好，但是就是卡老是刷不成功，上上下下跑了很多次然後讓卡reprogram了大概三次才成功刷開房門

Had a good stay at Aldgate East, the hotel was clean, comfortable and very good value for price. The real standout was Siho at reception. He had a very friendly attitude made my stay welcomed! he went above and beyond to make sure I had a good night stay. Location looks abit dark but very good for price.

1st class ... trains going by, until 1am, (economy trains too of course), dont expect to get to sleep before then Great flexibility ... in water temp from the shower, plus the thing that hold the shower head up wouldn't grip so dropped to the lowest point, kind like someone throwing up on your chest Extreme comfort ... is not to be found here, horrendous beds, poor amenities, no air con, really run down, decor that hast been updated since the 90's (pick your century) so yeah its rubbish, avoid at all costs, however the staff were friendly, and the breakfast was better than expected. the location is ok, and the building next door offers 24/7 case washes, seriously? who washes their car at 3am? I suspect they offer other services too ;-)

So not a good room. Cracked sink, chipped shower tray, stained carpets in corridor, in need of refurbishment. Staff pleasant at check in. Will not stay again- there are upgraded cheaper Travelodges further out from the centre - worth a short tube ride.

I wish I read the reviews before I booked this hotel. I went to the front desk to check in. A member of staff came over and started logging on the computer without a single word or acknowledgement. After a couple of minutes she asked for my name. No hello or welcome at all. The lift door would shut and then open again several times. The room was dirty. The carpet had what looked like white paint on it. The bed fabric was worn and dated. The mattress was at its end of life and just needed replacing. I left the sign on the door handle for towels to be replaced and tea/ milk to be topped up. Only a towel was replaced. There was no juice for breakfast in the machine despite only me taking breakfast. Since the hotel is next to a train track there was constant noise from passing trains in to the night. The window didn't shut properly so there was noise from outside. The only plus side was that it is close to Tower Bridge and three underground stations. I would not recommend the hotel . I really can't understand why a large chain hotel group would ruin their brand allowing people to pay to stop in the run down hotel where staff provide a poor customer service.
