Hotel Golden Sand

Myself and my daughter arrived quite late,first impressions, quite modern, the guy on reception spoke good fluent English and was very pleasant, they gave us a double room by mistake but it was rectified in minutes, with no issues. Hotel has a lift which is a bonus If you have problems with mobility. The restaurant Is downstairs though, not sure if the lift does. The rooms are what they say on the tin, bed, bathroom and balcony, our balcony was tiny , just fitted 2 chairs with no room to manoeuvre . Small TV, which we couldn't get to work but it was no loss. Aircon was free too. Very dated but clean. Towels are provided and room service. The breakfast is buffet and we must say very tasty! There is a bar, didn't see it open during our 3 night stay. There is 5 floors in the hotel, we worked it out to around 20 rooms per floor, which confused us as the pool area is very small, a few wicker sofas on back wall and 5! Yes 5 sunbeds!! I'm sure during the hot season there's going to be some brawling! Location is great, everything is 2 minutes away from the hotel. The walls in the room are VERY thin , you hear every noise from other rooms, must say it gave us a giggle at times but the noise can get too much when you are trying to sleep. Street noise you don't hear when the balcony door is shut. It's very much party town , which we weren't aware of until we arrived and took an evening stroll, being offered "charlie" and **** on every corner can be off putting, some are quite intimidating! If you go around the town and shops , be prepared to be harassed at every shop by sellers and they DONT take no for an answer. The beach is beautiful ! The sand is like crushed pebbles though, so bare foot is quite uncomfortable.

This hotel looks god when you enter the reception and bar area then you go to your room and that's when the problems start. The lift buttons are very worn then you get to the room and it is outdated and very basic. Broken electrical sockets, the bathroom shower you have to hold the shower head as the wall where it should be attached is broken and the water was just hot enough to shower. The beds were very old and the mattress was terrible to sleep on. The balcony was just big enough for two chairs and nothing else. The remotes for the postage stamp sized TV and air con were available from reception but I never bothered with them as we were only staying a couple of days. The roof terrace floored with wood and some of the spares were missing making it very difficult to walk on, I don't know if the bar up there ever opened as I only went up there once and it was closed as for the pool I never looked for it. The only good thing about this hotel was the breakfast as there was good variety of foods and it was warm and enjoyable.

Perfecto en relación calidad-precio. Hotel céntrico y muy económico con desayuno incluido. Las camas no eran muy cómodas, pero para pasar una noche por ese precio me parece correcto. Hay zona de aparcamiento cerca de pago (zona azul). Para pasar un fin de semana esta muy bien.

Abbiamo prenotato senza prima leggere bene le recensioni, affidandoci alle sole foto… diciamo che di per sè l’hotel non era così terribile in relazione al prezzo; anche la colazione ci ha abbastanza stupite. Tuttavia abbiamo soggiornato 3 notti e non sono mai venuti a cambiare le lenzuola… la carta igienica l’abbiamo dovuta chiedere noi alla reception. Il problema principale però è stato il rumore, i muri sembrano fatti di polistirolo, si sente veramente qualsiasi cosa. In aggiunta per due notti abbiamo dormito malissimo perché c’erano delle “classi in gita” (a detta loro) che andavano in discoteca e in piena notte facevano un casino ASSURDO . Siamo andate a lamentarci ma nessuno ha fatto nulla.

Sono stata in questo hotel con la famiglia, abbiamo prenotato non considerando le recensioni ,il posto è fatiscente, zero pulizia,zero controlli alla reception, un porto di mare..camere sporche e rovinate in ogni angolo della camera...abbiamo sbagliato noi a non informarci prima..ok,ma che disastro però...vabbè da dimenticare!!

Honteux. Horrible cet hôtel n'a même pas le mérite d'exister. A ce demander si le ménage a été fait. Un balcon Horrible. Une chambre ignoble des lits inconfortables, les dessus de lit avec des tâches non identifiables et sur les murs aussi. On partage même les odeurs de toilettes des chambres voisines. Un ascenseur digne d'un film d'horreur. Un petit déjeuner pas appétissant un café dégueulasse.Le pire séjour de ma vie. A fuir.
