Fenals Garden

I travel quite often and never came across such a non pleasant 4 star hotel. The rooms were not clean - a lot of hair on the bed sheets, finger prints and dirt all over the bathroom. Food wise - a lot of selection but most stuff are tasteless to say the least, tables are dirty and the weirdest thing, after a few nights, they stopped letting certain people fill water in the machine they have in the dining room (same with the juices they had there). What made me write this review is actually the weird request to stop brining bags to the dining room - meaning small bag with money, medications or anything important had to stay in the hotel room. Super weird and bad service overall. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND, there’s many better options around the area.

Very pleasant stay in Fenals gardens-pool view rooms have evening sun-great food selection-comfortable beds. Short walk down to lovely beach-20 minute pleasant walk down to Loret-exceptional beach and shopping-highly reccomended for relatively quite holiday

This hotel is a lovely well maintained hotel , evening meal nice ,breakfast was ok apart from Waiting to replenish stuff but then dont 🙈sadly I'm leaving more tired than I was when I arrived, This is due to other guests who just don't have any respect for anyone else staying there. Letting very young kids in the corridor to run scream and shout from 6.30am each day and then when staying in a room above jumping up and down and screaming at 11.30/12 at night. I have a child and sorry but no way she would be doing these things out of respect for others.sadly whoever was also in room next door decided it was party time at 2.20am this morning which went on till around 4 am. Needless to say I feel like a need a break to get over this break. If you do not like noise do not stay in Aug at this hotel as the other guest just don't care about anyone else Also the windows need sound proofing given. Room on main road where very busy traffic all hours

I hate having to leave such a low rating but this has been the strangest, most disappointing holiday experience I’ve ever had and wouldn’t want anyone to end up having a week away and it feeling like a waste of a holiday like ours did. Depending on the sort of holiday you’re after you will either love it or hate it. Firstly, let me give you the good points. The staff were great. Very friendly and helpful - absolutely no issues relating to customer service at all. Communal areas very clean, tidy and well kept. Room was fairly modern and cleaned daily. Breakfast was lovely with a nice selection. Cooking station for omelettes, pancakes etc. coffee machine, fruit juices, cereals and pastries as well as hot food selection. 15-20 min walk to centre of Lloret de mar 5 min walk to Fenals Beach Shops and restaurants nearby Unfortunately this is the most boring hotel I think I could have found. For the first few days it felt as though we were the only people staying there. There was no one at the pool other than us and the lifeguard. No music, no other guests. It was eerily quiet. Later in the week we saw others checking in but never really saw them around the hotel apart from at breakfast and another couple at the pool on one day. There was just no atmosphere. We like chatting to people whilst away and people watching. That didn’t happen here! The bar was always quiet, no matter the time of day and there was only one night where we witnessed anything going on. We were told due to there being Spanish guests some music was put on so they could dance. It did seem like at the weekend there was an influx of Spanish and French quests heading to the coast for the weekend. If it hadn’t been for seeing the other hotels nearby bustling with people I would have thought that the lack of guests was just due to the season. The weather took a turn for the worst the last part of our stay which made it even more difficult to stay entertained. The bed was rock hard and incredibly uncomfortable (I do like a firm mattress but this was another level) and due to the location on the corner of a busy main road there was so much traffic noise it was difficult to get a good nights sleep in the room without some sort of disturbance from outside. It definitely seemed as though this was suitable as more of a base if you were planning on going out sightseeing every day rather than a hotel you could enjoy your time at unless you wanted to sit with a book with peace and quiet by yourself all day every day. There are bus stops just across the road to get to Barcelona and Girona for days out for a reasonable cost. We usually travel all inclusive and thought that B&B would be more cost effective but we ended up spending so much more because we didn’t want to stay in the hotel so I now wish I’d have gone for a different option. Had this just been a stay for a couple of nights it would have been bearable but to stay for a week my partner and I were bored to tears by the

I couldn't really fault this hotel to be honest. Yes there are roads and buildings next to the hotel but it's in a built up area and I knew this before I went, so no issue. The road wasn't that busy at night and it wasn't noisy with the door closed. I liked my good sized balcony on the road side. It was interesting to sit there and have a drink before going out. The room was a good size and had two double beds which was great. The fridge had a lock but it was unlocked so I didn't need to pay. The wardrobe, desk, TV, iron, clothes airer and hairdryer were all fine. The Aircon worked well. I didn't use the safe. The bathroom was normal hotel size, with a good shower, bath and even a bidet. I couldn't get WiFi sitting on my bed, only in the bathroom or near the door. The pool area was a good size, it had sun until about 18:00 and plenty of good sun beds. There was a lifeguard that kept everything very orderly. The hotel is a 5 to 10 minute walk from the beach which was lovely too. Plenty of space. It's not fine sand so no sandcastles. Lloret de Mar is a 10 to 15 minute walk and is quite lively. It was nice not to be staying right amongst this. Fenals area is quieter but still has bars/restaurants and a good supermarket very close to the hotel. I didn't have a bad meal. I caught the bus to Girona for 11 euros return. This is from Lloret bus station. Girona was a great place for a day visit. The views from the old city walls aren't to be missed and the river is lovely too. I also caught the bus to Barcelona for 18 euros. These are very popular and I had to buy e-tickets online the day before. There is a bus stop outside the hotel so you don't need to go to Lloret bus station. The Barcelona bus was 30 mins late going and 15 mins late coming back. Breakfast was varied and good quality. Bacon, sausages, toast, beans, eggs, fruit, cereal, continental, coffee, juice, pancakes, waffles, pastries etc. I don't understand how anyone could be unhappy. I didn't have lunch or dinner here. The whole hotel was spotless. Nothing was broken, everything worked. The maid did a great job with our room. The receptionist spoke different languages and was helpful. Had a lovely week's holiday here.

Everyone has different experience and reading previous reviews I was very sceptic about hotel.First things first hotel itself is located i very busy and noisy roundabout were choosing pool side view room doesnt help to escape from noise however it is sure to be better than room facing main road.Everywhere is super close if someone likes to walk and 1 or 2 km is not a thing.Sea is 10 mins walk from hotel and supermakets and restaurants are nearby.Hotel is far from to be 4 star hotel however some people need very little and feel like in 4 star and some expect a luxury and high maintenance where when we have entered a hotel lobby knew already thay would not be a 4 star.Rooms are average and need upgrade.Bathroom is very small and not much room to move around.Room service is everyday so you would always have clean towels and bed sheets.Bed are uncomftable and squeky while turning around and walls are super thin so you can hear others people conversation.That gives not much night and pleasant sleep after busy day.They charge for safe 20 euro for a week where 10 euro is deposit so I had to carry my belongins with me which is fine( never found this i other hotels)We had half board option breakfast and lunch( we swap for lunch) and is very repetitive specially breakfast.Drinks are included only at the breakfast but for lunch and dinner you have to carry your own water or buy drinks from bar where food is served.Hotel has little of entertaiment for whole stay so when it was raining one day we were sitting in room watching tv and playing cards.Swimming area are nice and tidy.Paddling pool with slides has a big plus from me as otherwise not much for kids to do.Overall we had nice stay.Buses are nerby to if you planning trips to Barcelona or Blanes or Marineland.Staff is very helpfull to give direction.We flu to Girona airport and transfer itself to hotel cost us 55 euro ( i heard to cost more depend on taxi).Hotel is more for people who dont have kids in my opinion or have grown up kids so they can go to night clubs as there is many of them.Not proper family hotel for sure so wont be back here.
