Hotel Alba Seleqtta

Ok settle in peeps! Reception and check in- took bloody forever and not the friendliest of reception staff. You turn up 39 years old and turn 50 by the time you get your room. Accommodation- we were allocated the basement room with the staff at the back of reception! People shouting and screaming until 4:30 am every single night. Clean rooms though and daily cleaning. 98 stairs from ground floor to the restaurant so get your trainers ready. A lot of walking up and down the stairs! Food- ok! Most of it was cold but there is quite a good selection. Very fresh. No coffee by the pool until 11am which was shame unless you paid for it- not all inclusive then! *cough cough money making all the time* Pool- tiny but clean. Sun beds- only 15 ish around the pool and not much space but a lot of outdoor seating. Location- great and very central. Entertainment- none existent! Mini disco starts at 9:30pm and entertainment after that is bloody terrible to say the least. Staff- some bar members would crack their face if they smiled but others were great and helpful. I would go back to loret de mar again but def not this hotel but served me and my friend ok for 5 days. Anything over 5 days would be too much! This is a very fair and accurate review as it wasn’t all bad. The word for this hotel is FINE.

Brilliant stay in Lloret at Alba Seleqqta - lovely hotel, very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is situated in a decent location for all the shops/bars/restaurants in Lloret and also only a couple of minutes' walk from the beach. The food was excellent - we were all inclusive, there were always many options for every meal, many of which for lunch and dinner were fish/seafood. Every mealtime was different and the food was always of a high standard. The room we had was basic but functional, with a big bathroom and walk-in shower. The shower was exceptionally powerful, and was a real bonus. All the staff we encountered were amazing, from the person who checked us in at 03:00, and pointed us in the direction of the restaurant when they'd put some food on for us after our late-night (and slightly delayed) journey, to the restaurant staff and the bar staff who always served us with a smile.

Great 👍 services and friendly staff. Good food and clean rooms. Rooms are cleaned every day. Staff very accommodating and friendly. Close to the see side and town centre with full of activities every night. Entertainment at bar and pull side every evening

Please do not listen to the bad reviews. We have just returned from this hotel as a family of 4 travelling with another family of 4. The AI was really good with lots of options on offer each meal tike, along with hot food at the bar and continuous supply of Olives, nuts and crisps. The hotel made us all pack ups as we left early which had variety of foods in. Staff were super friendly and helpful. The pool slides were open for the kids even though it's out of season. The only things I would say is, if you are travelling with larger children (teenagers) then the beds in the family rooms are small doubles or a sofa bed. Our girls were fine, but we struggled as mid size adults so we would recommend getting an additional room. The beds were quite hard too. The Spa can be used an hour a day when booked for free, so definitely make use of that. We felt the spa is not in a very good position, as when you enter/exit you have to walk through the bar which can be a little awkward if the bar is busy. Just something to think about if you use it layer in the day. Overall we had a great holiday. The hotel and rooms are constantly being cleaned and they are all very helpful.

This has got to be one of the worst experiences I’ve had with my children I took my 2 under 2 on holiday on my own, the service is shocking and expect children not to make mess while eating and think it’s okay during my nearly 1 year old still eating to move her to and from the table while eating to clean underneath the table and around , I get they have some sort of health and safety hygiene hazard that they need to be aware of but they confronted me in front of the hole room and told me I need to clean up after my children (rice) I need to pick rice up from the floor , I get cleaning up after my children in any restaurant I do , but rice I will not , they have a broom they get paid to clean , they are not family friendly what’s so ever , most of there facilities where disgusting and dirty, the spar was never available, the food you could not take out of the restaurant and to be eaten in rooms , (I have children ) out of routine would’ve thought I could’ve taken it back to my hotel room to feed them there timings for breakfast lunch and dinner where all out of time breakfast was 7-8 lunch 2-4 and dinner 7-9 it’s a bit of a joke when you highlight your a family friendly hotel The manger is stuck up her own back side and rude and thinks she owns you , she did not sort out any issues and laughed and didn’t compromise when one of her waiters moved my child to him from the table in her chair! Ridiculous Being mine and my children’s First holiday, all in all, it was a bad experience The only thing good from this hotel, the beach was a five minute walk ! Enjoy if you choose to go 🙃

Please don't listen to the bad reviews and try this hotel for yourself. We came as a family of 12 and absolutely had a ball. The staff was very friendly, the food was a bit repetitive but delicious. The lifeguard was so good with the children and kept them occupied at the slide pool. Only downfall was the pillows other than that we really enjoyed ourselves and can't wait to come back x
