We’re a young couple, but honestly, the atmosphere here was super uncomfortable. There was so much noise, especially from groups of teenagers, and nobody from the hotel staff bothered to ask them to respect guests who actually want to relax and enjoy some calm. The walls are not soundproof at all-you can hear everything from the next room, which is not great if you care about privacy. We were given two separate beds instead of a double, and when we asked to change, they just told us there was no availability. On top of that, there’s loud construction going on right in front of the hotel during the day. It’s almost funny how impossible it is to get any sleep here, day or night. Forget about napping, too. The room also had a terrible smell we just had to put up with the whole time. My advice: if you want a peaceful hotel, look for a quieter city or a different hotel altogether. If you have no choice, only book for one night and start looking for somewhere better as soon as you arrive.

Amazing hotel. Great atmosphere, lovely pool. The room is spotless. We’re all inclusive and to be fair the drinks are good. Proper Estrella lager on tap. The food is absolutely brilliant. The best all inc food Ive ever had anywhere. So much to choose from and presented with imagination instead of the normal rubbish.

Good value for this price. All good, but nothing special. Receptionists, waiters and cleaning ladies were polite. Busy in the canteen, que up to 7 minutes to get a coffee. However, food was good. Fresh meat and fish every day. Sweets, fruits, ice-cream.

We stayed at Hotel htop Amatista in Lloret de Mar for a week on a half-board basis and found it to be very good value for money. The rooms are basic but clean, with air conditioning and a balcony — simple but comfortable. The location is great, just a short walk to a lovely beach and with an easy bus connection into the main town. The staff were excellent — always friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The food was perfectly good for the price, with enough variety to keep things interesting. The only real downside was the breakfast coffee — the machines were unreliable, often leaving long queues in the morning. Not the staff’s fault, but something the hotel should address. The rooftop facilities were closed during our stay, which was a shame, but overall, it’s a solid choice for a budget-friendly holiday.
