Meliá Lloret de Mar

So this is my final review on this hotel. We arrived late at night 1130pm, the whole check in process was fine until we got to our room and that's when it went down hill. We booked as 3 adults and there was a cot out in the room and a king size bed. After complaining to the reception (Bacary) i was told the hotel thought my son was a baby. Clearly didn't check the booking properly, after an hour of waiting about we had a bed put in our room (see pic) for our 17 year old son this was not acceptable. The following day we had a meeting with customer experience team and was not given any apologies for the mix up and was told basically there was no upgrade available and would need to stay in that tiny room. We reluctantly accepted. Onto the pool, this was ok although the sun beds was very uncomfortable they do have bigger beds but you do have to pay either €30 or €50. Pool bar like the bar inside the hotel very expensive hence why no one goes in the bar, €4 for a can of coke when there 89 cents at the shop. We stayed bed and breakfast, we tried this once and didn't bother after that. Everything served on tea plates and was luke warm. We didn't try the restaurants so can't comment on them. The grounds to the hotel was great I do believe this to be more of a 4* at the very most. The lady on check out tried charging me extra for tourist tax for my son even though he was 17 Upon arrival and they don't pay at that age and tried explaing this and requested why he was not charged on check in. She wasn't listening and had to go get a decision from manager I assume. Overall I would not recommend this hotel nor would we come back.

Absolutely loved our stay here and confident we will come back! brilliant entertainment around the pool and grass areas, some days yoga (both in and out of the pool) another day aqua dance, there was fitness classes outside as well as a free onsite gym which we didn't use. rooms cleaned daily if you like, lovely shampoo, shower gel and conditioner provided in the rooms. Breakfast had a great selection from fruits, cereals, pastries, hot food and my personal favourite the boiled egg and omelette section ( made fresh) . positioned brilliantly close enough to everything but a nice distance from the strip. The bus stop to go to Barcelona for the day is round the corner from the hotel. honestly 10/10 stay, not one fault . Major thanks to all the staff for making our stay so nice! cleaners, entertainers, reception and bar staff !

Very nice hotel, for us it was quiet, modern, fresh with good breakfasts (however don’t expect huge options like in Türkiye 😄) there was even live music. We traveled in April, the weather was slightly warm but we couldn’t swim in the pool, the spa was OK. The beach was in 15-20 min walk. Overall I would range this hotel a good 4star, it lacked some luxury vibes to be a 5star hotel. Good for family vacations. For party people I would suggest the ones near the beach’s.

We recently returned from a fantastic holiday and couldn't be more pleased! The hotel staff were friendly and fun, making our stay even more enjoyable. The variety of activities kept us entertained, and the wait staff were attentive and efficient. The food was delicious, though we’d appreciate a bit more rotation in the menu. The hotel was spotless, with great facilities for all the family and a brilliant pool area that provided a perfect spot to relax. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely return. Good location for families, away from the hustle and bustle of the main drag in Lloret De Mar, but close enough to easily get to the beach and shops.

The spa experience with Maria was excellent. She took care of me and I felt relaxed. This massage is the highlight of my holiday. Overall the hotel is beautiful and extremely clean. The only thing I wish breakfast would not end at 10 am. I hope my two more days will be free from any hiccups.

Amazing hotel with amazing facilities. Exceeded our expectations. The food was really good, very welcoming and helpful staff. Rooms were to a high standard. In a very quiet location away from all the busy streets of lloret centre but everything like beach and shops within walking distance. Night entertainment was a wonderful surprise as didn't know hotel put it on. Used the spa facilities and had a massage from Jose who was very professional Really enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back. Would highly recommend 👌
