Premier Inn Abergavenny

I chose the hotel because of its location and price. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable, I slept like a baby. I would stay here again and recommend it to my friends.

Clean and spacious twin room. Big empty space for a third bed - no easy chair. Lovely bathroom/shower - only 1 hand towel for 2 people. Lots of hype about the bed and mattress- but the one pillow was very average. Would stay again with own pillows.

The room was quiet and clean with a bath. Virtually no noise from the busy road outside. Would have liked a couple of arm chairs in the room. Would have liked to be able to adjust the air-con to lower than 19C whilst we were asleep as we were a bit too hot in the night, the minimum temperature seems to be 19C.

Stopped for one night on a cycling tour. Hotel was perfect for this, comfortable beds, quiet rooms that were clean and well equipped, and like all Premier Inns we were able to keep our bikes safe inside the hotel. Credit goes to the friendly helpful staff who make a stay at a Premier Inn a pleasure.

First impression was good,i have stayed at this hotel a few times and it has always been good. This time the lift was not working all week and i was on the 2nd floor. The WIFI was not working, the staff said it had been on and off for months. The attached Brewers Fare was terrible, not enough staff and those they did have were rude. The quality of the food was terrible. I will not stay here again.

Considering WiFi was essential for work to be done on-line, to arrive & be told no WiFi & has been an ongoing issue for months was less than ideal. Lift also broken & again longstanding. Run down. Noisy room. Bed very hard. Not a great stay.

Stayed here over Merthyr due to a 40 quid saving. Very pleased with the room and much nicer than Merthyr.

Brining an Under 13s rugby team on tour is fraught with the potential for things to go awry, but Premier Inn/Brewer's Fayre at Abergavenny were incredibly accommodating of us. We were co-located as best as could be managed and ate breakfast and dinner each day next door at Brewer's Fayre. We had to pre-order for such a large group, but were given a segregated area for our group throughout the weekend. Unfortunately, Premier Inn (centrally) wouldn't offer us a Group Rate, but this a corporate decision and not one made by the hotel. This meant that prices varied and some potential attendees decided to stay elsewhere.
