Hotel Helvetia

Food is terrible. Servers are slow, and grumpy. I ordered the pasta carbonara, the pasta was burnt black, and the sauce didn’t taste like anything, it also cost €16. The servers ar slow and don't speak any language other than italian. The only good thing about our dinner where the drinks. Dont come here!

We booked our stay at Hotel Helvetia through Steve Barron, Managing Director at Livigno Ski Holidays. The duration of our stay was from 7 January to 14 January 2023. The board basis was Bed & Breakfast. Although the accommodation/rooms were great and Hotel Helvetia is in a good location in the town, the food was horrific, tasteless and cold. The language barrier also made it difficult to communicate with them effectively. As an example, my family and I were supposed to check in at 15h00 on 7 January 2023. We arrived at 15h30, but the rooms still weren’t ready. On the morning of 8 January, my wife and I had slept in a bit late as we were tired after travelling for most of the day on 7 January. My wife is currently battling cancer and recently suffered a stroke, so one can imagine that all the travelling would exhaust her. When we had woken up and gone down for breakfast, we were told that we couldn’t get any food at the restaurant. Any other hotel would have given us the courtesy of a small prepared meal. Due to my wife’s condition, she needs to eat something before taking her medication. My family and I often travel to Livigno for holidays. I don’t judge a place by the problems, but rather how the establishment attempts to fix them. If the hotel could take some accountability for what was wrong during our stay, we may consider staying there again.

We had the most amazing stay for our skiing holiday. The restaurant was very accommodating at preparing simpler meals for our kids and the staff are so friendly. The location was excellent for ski-in-ski-out and it is right on the pedestrian zone for close access to restaurants and the shops. The rooms were very clean and the were serviced daily.

Bad service, expencive as hell. Not worth it. The service was just from hell. The guy who served us was rude and had no sence for service. You feel just robbed and sad. No pleasent experience. The food was just bad. The service worst if possible.

Hotel centralissimo e comodo al centro di Livigno,da negozi di marca, supermercato, ristoranti,bar,le camere confortevoli, tutto in legno,con ascensore comodissimo,Mauro e la sua signora sono ospitali, allegri,bravissimo il cuoco che ha cucinato tutto buonissimo.Da ritornare

Ça pue sa mère. La nourriture est nul comme Donnarumma au PSG. Les serveurs sont désagréable. Mon pote a commander une fondue ils ont mis un fond de fromage. J’ai pris des ribs, je pensais que c’était une frappe mais c’est une feinte de frappe comme Mbappé. En gros c’est claqué au sol.

Ladri , abbiamo preso 4 pizze D’ASPORTO di cui una baby, abbiamo pagato la bellezza di 60 euro , di cui due con ingredienti sbagliati e una neanche ben cotta. Una vergogna. Per non parlare del sapore della salsiccia o dei funghi esperienza pessima davvero sicuramente non ci vedranno mai più.

Ci siamo fermati a cena attirati dal fatto che era l’unico posto aperto…non l’avessimo mai fatto !!! Pulizia scarsissima oltre alla grande simpatia del cameriere (ironico ovviamente). Passiamo ai piatti ordinata una paillard di vitello buttata nel piatto tutto sporco e senza cura, filetto di manzo (foto allegata) grigliata senz’altro su griglia sporca, odore pessima di carne andata a male, ordinate patate al forno arrivate fritte unte come non so cosa!!! Posto da EVITARE !!!!! Certi posti dovrebbero chiudere e mettersi almeno una mano sulla coscienza prima di portare del cibo alle persone.

Hotel situato nel centro di Livigno davanti al conosciuto Bivio Bistrot & Restaurant quindi molto comodo se si vuole far due passi per la via principale. Personale gentile e disponibile come simpatico il titolare della struttura. Purtroppo la camera era piccolina anche se eravamo in due persone...presumo comunque abbiano delle camere più grandi. Locale un pò datato....gli servirebbe una rinfrescata sopratutto nella zona "Spa". Non ho trovato molto corretto spendere 10 euro per fare l'idromassaggio. Nota un pò dolente nel menù....sempre lo stesso per le tre cene e non sempre eccellente. Do quattro stelle per la posizione.
