Premier Inn Liverpool City (Albert Dock)

I have NEVER stayed in a worse hotel. From the minute we got there it was chaos..! The minute I stepped into reception and into beside the lifts it was disgustingly dirty, debris all over the floors, empty carling beer can in the lift. Got to the room we’re do I start, was BALTIC, could see my breath, went down and spoke to the girl on reception who said it would be changed over to heating, manager said it would take 20 mins to heat. 5HOURS later it only started to heat a little, the thick dust all along the carpet tv ye can barely see from the bed. Next day I went out came back and room was Baltic again, went complained again told them I do not want the air con on in my room at all, they said that’s ok but the same thing happened the next day, had to lay with the two blankets. Breakfast was undercooked and tasteless. Put £10 into the machine downstairs and it switched off, was told that whoever owned the machine would have to come fix it and give it back to me, night before leaving I was told that I wouldn’t be getting my money back that the man came to look at the machine to fix it but it wasn’t the man who could lift the money, I said so I’m just not going to get refunded he said no when he comes back it will be kept in the office for you, ( I was flying back to Ireland the next day) absolute joke, never did get the money. There was a nice fella called Major who worked behind the bar but other than that I have nothing in the slightest positive to say about my experience. Absolute rip off price to could have stayed somewere 10 times better. Avoid at all costs..!

We have been to this premiere inn before so we new what to expect. Checking in was easy although I’ve never been asked before to put money in the charity box so we could leave our cases there as we arrived early. (Not that I mind giving to charity) The room was very hot, even though there was a small electric fan in room, as the air conditioning was not working. This meant we had a terrible nights sleep due to the heat. But otherwise the hotel is a lovely building, situated in a beautiful place & the staff were all very friendly. I would return here again although not in the summer if the air conditioning not working.
