Key points: This is my first review!
From the decision to go to Zhangye, I found three hotels that I personally like, but the other two bosses gave me a very cold feeling, so that I felt that I was not safe to travel. I contacted Chunyu Hotel. The boss gave me a very kind feeling. Even if there may be no listings, I added my WeChat, and provided me with a lot of important strategies for this trip, so that I firmly chose Chunyu Hotel in advance. Until I checked in, friends and children were very satisfied after arriving at the scene. The room was large, the overall environment was very clean, the facilities and equipment were very new, the boss and his family were very kind and enthusiastic, and left a deep impression on our trip. OOliyaI loved the place and was so excited to sleep in this perfectly arranged mongol ger. It was spacious, super confortable, well equipped, pretty and had a lot of good vibes. The owner was very kind and helped me find a taxi driver for my whole trip in Zhangye. He also drove me to the entrance of Danxia geological park and back at the hotel, but it’s really 5-10min walk away anyway. Plenty of restaurants around. I highly recommend it!
(Except if you need a soft bed, as theirs was a hard one)

GGlynI can't praise Qiao Hongli and the family enough for their welcome and support. The lady of the house walked me to the West Gate entrance to the Rainbow Mountains. The hotel then organised tickets to 2 night shows and the Binggou Danxia. Perhaps the highlight was a tour of the Extraterrestrial Canyon, which Hongli took me on. He took concern for my aged knees! The many kindnesses which Hongli and his family showed to me made it a wonderful 3 day trip. Xiexie.

QQiaoxibaThe B&B is located near the entrance of the town and very close to the gate of the scenic spot. The environment of the B&B is beautiful, the owner is warm and thoughtful, and answers all questions. The surrounding area is convenient for eating and drinking, and parking is convenient. 2. Hotel environment: OK. The family room has been upgraded, but I personally feel that the price is very expensive. It is a duplex structure with two single beds on the lower floor and a double bed on the upper floor. The stairs are very high and not suitable for the elderly. It is clean and hygienic, and the living feeling is OK, but there is less space for luggage in the family room.
3. Front desk service: Very good, the store owner is very enthusiastic. Knowing that we are going to watch the sunrise in the morning, he got up early to help us open the door and told us some information about the attractions and meals.
4. Breakfast: No breakfast. The breakfast nearby is not delicious and very expensive. They are all frozen or convenient foods. I don’t know why it is still so expensive.
5. Location: Easy to find, very close to the attractions, good air, not noisy.

The child wet the bed the night before checking out, and the sheets were dirty. The kind uncle said directly, it’s okay, they can just change it. I was very touched. The sister at the front desk also gave the child a bag of dates. The room was very clean. I think these two conditions are already met. 🤗🤗🤗

XXuezhongshiThe villa-style homestay has a quiet environment. Many cars can be parked around the small building. It takes about ten minutes to walk to the main entrance of the scenic area. There are many restaurants on the main road, and you can choose as much as you want. There is a Fengshengyuan restaurant behind the small building. Its hand-pulled lamb is delicious and the portion is large. The two of us ordered a pound and couldn't finish it. The boss's small vegetable garden is thriving with various plants. The boss is very nice, enthusiastic, serious and helpful. The room is spacious, clean and tidy, and all kinds of facilities are complete.

XXihulishangyinThe hotel is very big. It is just opposite the north gate of Danxia. I took a taxi from the high-speed rail station in the afternoon. There was a guy at the door to help me take the luggage and bring it to the room. The front desk added WeChat and sent me information about the house items and information about buying tickets and eating. Water and other items were delivered quickly. Now it is off-season and many restaurants around are closed. Fortunately, you can order food on the first floor of the hotel. The pork ribs, potatoes, tomato soup and homemade tofu are all delicious and the portions are large. There is also hot pot. Two adults and one child didn't finish it. The room is also very big. I booked a family room. The bathroom is separated into dry and wet areas, which is good. It's just a little cold at night. If you want to take a shower, the geological park next to Danxia will not open until April 23. It is under renovation recently. Next time, I will come in a month with good weather. You can continue to live here

Excellent and so friendly service provided by the staff. Even received a gift when I left (large bag of dried Chinese dates as they did notice I ate the two small welcome bags in the room😉 I guess).
Very quiet. I loved it. Noise insulation not great but ok. Good air conditioning system (silent, efficient). Bed on the (very) hard side. Bathroom ok. Shower good (hot water, pression).
The area is not fancy for sure but there are plenty of food options around.
I am not sure breakfast was available. I slept late as it was raining in the morning ;-) Looking at the room where the breakfast is served I could read: from 7 to 8 AM🤔
