"The hotel was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. Downstairs, there's a noodle shop that's reportedly been open for 20 years, making it very convenient for dining. Since I arrived a bit early and my room wasn't ready, I went to eat first. The hotel is spotless, the breakfast is excellent, and the views from the hotel are great. Downstairs looks like a big park with a river running through it. Overall, the service and environment are excellent, and it's extremely clean. I'll definitely stay here again on my next trip, and it's also conveniently close to the high-speed rail station."

"I chose Manxin Hotel for my one-night stay in Linfen, mainly because they offer a family room with one large and one small bed. The front desk and staff were all super friendly and welcoming. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a fruit plate and some small snacks. The room was also very clean. The only minor drawback was that despite being called a 'deluxe family room,' the space was quite small. Besides a small round table and a narrow strip in front of the TV, there was no other place to put our belongings, making it a bit cramped for three people to move around. Additionally, the air conditioning airflow in the room was very strong, making the areas near the windows extremely cold. The hotel breakfast was pretty good, and I enjoyed the beef meatball noodles. Overall, I still recommend it!"

"On our road trip, we chose to stay at Mercure Linfen Hualin Hotel for two nights. The hotel is very new and well-located, making it convenient to get anywhere. Guests get free parking in the underground garage. The room facilities are excellent, the bedding is comfortable, the bathroom has a wet/dry separation and a smart toilet. It was very quiet at night, so we slept wonderfully. Breakfast was also plentiful, and the hotel's service in all aspects was great. Highly recommend!"

"Fantastic hotel! The floor-to-ceiling windows offer great views of the Fen River and the city. The room was spacious and bright with an expansive view outside. The facilities were excellent, and the service was attentive. The breakfast at the restaurant was also good. Highly recommended."

"The family room was much bigger than I expected, completely different from other hotels where they just cram two beds into one room. It felt like it used to be a suite that was converted, with two connecting rooms each having a large bed. This is perfect for families traveling with older children, as everyone gets their own space. Both rooms were very spacious, the overall decor felt quite high-end, and the cleanliness was also good. What was particularly thoughtful was that all the duvets were summer quilts – I've put up with thick duvets in other hotels for so long, so it's very considerate that this hotel thought of that. The only slight downside was that the room was at the very end of the hallway, and the hotel's layout is a bit odd; it takes a while to walk from the elevator, and dragging luggage along that path was a bit difficult. A nice touch, though, was that the hallway featured many small display cases showcasing Linfen's local culture, history, and intangible cultural heritage. This was great and made the long walk down the corridor less boring. The mini-bar in the room offered complimentary drinks, and breakfast was decent – enough to fill you up, and the local beef meatball noodles were good. Parking was convenient with an underground garage right next door. They also have a gym and a laundry room, so the facilities are good, and you can even order coffee on the first floor. The only minor issue was that the floor drain in the bathroom seemed to have a bit of an odor when we first entered, but flushing water down it fixed it right up. Hopefully, they can address that."
