This place is a conference/workshop hosts dream. The facilities are just excellent. Even more so is the staff's knowledge and dedication to your event. Simply the best experience I've ever had. I'd like to specifically mention Francis, our event host, and Fredrick in the restaurant. Professionals professionals. Our facilitates were thoughtfully appointed with whiteboards, wall space, large screens, and glorious natural light. Well well considered. Like a space for the facilitator to lay out their materials in an inconspicuous place near the front of the room. Everything was setup as if the entire team knows exactly what makes a group space function well. We had two rooms with large glass doors that opened to patio -- which could be left open most of the day. The AV person was waiting in the room to check the equipment. There were extension cords that were out of everyone's way, but perfectly arranged to serve everyone in the room. I asked how early I could get in to prepare. It was early! And when I walked over, it was all open and ready for me (hours before everyone was to arrive). There are other special things about this place. Water everywhere with reusable glasses. No lugging in cases of plastic. The food in the restaurant was GREAT and much of it grown nearby. The cafe and the surrounding workspace is open quite late. A lovely gift shop and an even lovelier experience with Rose, the storekeeper. There is also a remarkably restored forest that is worth support and a trip by itself. The rooms are very clean, the water hot. Nothing fancy, but the only other place you'd find this attention to piling your bed with the quantity of soft blankets they do is your grandmothers. Laundry service is great. My room had a full closet and lots of hangers so I could prepare and unwrinkle my clothing for the week. Very good at the details this place. Higher elevation means cooler temps and not a lot of bugs competing for your attention. Would easily easily select this place again. Would consider using Nairobi for future events because of this space. Not that far out of Nairobi.

Went on a Sunday afternoon with my family hoping to have a good time together. First the service is very slow, it takes hours to get food. So don’t go there when hungry. We had to keep asking for small things eg services. The lamb chops were dry. The barbeque pizza was made with hard chicken. The coffee we asked for as dessert never came. The process of getting bicycles to ride was long and disorganized. Then after walking back and forth from the gift shop the bikes we got were too big for our kid so we didn’t ride. The worst part was asking for a cake and a bit of singing from staff for my daughters birthday and after waiting over an hour one lady came out and just placed the cake on the table with no warning, we would have not ordered that cake if we knew they were understaffed. It’s a beautiful place but the service is poor. Would not recommend it to anyone looking to relax and have a good meal. Please improve for real!!!!!

Beautiful place. Very green and fresh clean air. The waiters are so friendly. Especially Fredrick in dinning. It was Ramadan and he showed respect for me and trying to help me to get food in the time of Iftar and Sahoor. It was a really good and refreshing experience.

Beautiful place. Very green and fresh clean air. The waiters are friendly. The ambience is perfect and forest trail was really nice. Enjoyed the walk to the waterfall and back. Downside: The food, oh the food. First it was cold as it got to us. Granted Limuru is cold but probably if the the food was covered as its brought to the tables, it might have still been warm. I would love to give a positive review, but the food was really bad. The chips were yellow and dry. Tasted like they were reheated. Worst steak i ever tasted too. The premises are beautiful but the food part lots of improvement.

Beautiful place but terrible customer services. It took them about an hour to take our order and almost 2 hours to deliver. The food was cold and tasteless and the smoothie was served in a funny looking can.

My experience with ‘RESERVATIONS’ was terrible. Wear your “Patience Armor”, thank me later. Quick Tip – document everything during discussions (remember to share a copy with the staff handling your booking) or better still, record your conversations. I will not bother to go into the birthday event experience, let me leave that to your imagination.
