Greenhills Hotel Limerick

Not a 4 star hotel! Room was nice, comfortable beds and nice bathroom. Food in the bar/ restaurant was overpriced.. 20e for a plain margarita pizza, pint of beer 7e, a café latte 4.75e. Decor very dated here and not warm and cosy. This hotel does not cater to vegans. Ordered tiger green curry for my daughter and it was truly awful.. as if cooked in petrol. Evening before.. vegan burger.. barely garnished and totally overpriced. Staff nice and friendly. Restaurant and prices very disappointing. Food and prices matter.

We're just back from a flying visit to Limerick, our second time at the hotel. Our room was really clean and spacious. The Bar area was great, food was excellent. I have to say two members of staff in particular really went out of their way, so welcoming, friendly and attentive in a super busy breakfast room. Firstly the fantastic Mary, who greeted us with the biggest smile, showed us to our table and checked to make sure we were okay for everything and also to Tova likewise a great team member, both smiling & working so hard.

Previously popped in here for food in previous visits to Limerick, so sister who met up with us, had her car so decided to go down here again. Well this was only place I never tried Seafood Chowder…..tho my wife did, well I had previously this Tempura Style Tiger Prawn so this was the main reason I went back there to have it again, so had this again, this time it was presented differently to me (2 years ago I had same dish) It was again lovely, as stated presented differently, possibly def looked a smaller portion, but delicious dish, and will be back again sooner next time. My sister who lives in Limerick and cannot recall what she or her son had but I know both enjoyed there food, as well as my wife who had Seafood Chowder, which I normally have, she said it was one of the best she had ever had in the 35 years I have been taken her to Limerick, typical 3 out of 4 nights I eat this dish but decided to give it a miss here, tho she did enjoy it immensely. Well I topped it off my dining with a lovely Hazelnut Pavlova Berry Compote Ice Cream wow what a finish to our dining experience here, will be back sooner rather than later again….for food definitely! Only neg of any sort, when we arrived there was a young family seated nearby to us, who let there very young children run around screaming, I did ask waitress to seat us as far away as she could from them, she said she would so went off to sort it, lucky enough the ‘family’ left, so we stayed where we were, as they exited….thank god, peace & quite, so overall it was another great dining experience, thank you all at Greenhills, will be back to try the Chowder.

Great Hotel with super staff. The rooms are very clean, bright, airy & smell wonderful. Restaurant/Bar food is awesome, I would highly recommend the chowder, it's the best I've ever tasted, absolutely delicious Awesome Pool & Gym, 2nd visit & definitely will be returning again!

We've just held our wedding at the Greenhills Hotel and we are absolutely delighted with the high level of care, service and attention that we've experienced. From our initial booking with the general manager Daphne Greene 2 years ago, and the number of planning visits that we've had with the lovely events manager Natasha Grew, we were always made to feel welcome, and no question or request was a hassle for them, absolutely top people to deal with. Everything from the decoration of the reception rooms, to the tasty food and excellent attentive staff was amazing. Myself and the woman I'm now happy to call my wife have no hesitation in recommending the Greenhills Hotel, and their amazing management and staff to look after you for your big day, or even just a stay or a bite to eat. Massive thank you to all of you for making our day very special xxxx.

Lovely hotel. 15 mins from bunratty, 30 mins from Adere. Pool Lovely, no lifeguard on duty though. Staff could be managed better in bar so all areas covered at all times, experienced bar person would be such an asset. Polite staff. Food amazing, average 20€ main course. We enjoyed everything we ate. There was a banging door all night near our room so not the best sleep, comfy beds. Awful smell from the bathroom constantly and second floor a bit smelly. We just left window open. Music in bar Saturday night was nice.
