Porto Greco Village Beach Hotel

The hotel and all staff were fantastic. They couldn't do enough to ensure our honeymoon was one to remember. From Swan towels with rose petals on our bed to the amazing food that they serve in the dining area. Beautiful clean rooms and pools with lovely music playing and terrace areas to sit and enjoy the beautiful views. Pool bars are superb and the staff that worked their made each day extra special. Sun loungers big and well maintained and the decor was beautiful. Thanks to all at Porto Greco Mr and Mrs Nevard xx

A complex of buildings catering quite a few people. Some buildings are older than others. They cope well at meal times, everyone knows what job they have to do so everything flows smoothly. The food is absolutely fine, there is something for everyone, freshly cooked. There are a few pools mostly small, very disappointing that they allow guests to leave their towels on the sun loungers even though they are still sleeping. We never found room at the main pool. The bars in the all inclusive are really good. The staff in general are all lovely, polite, helpful and hardworking.

We changed to Porto Greco last minute for a treat … But I just can’t understand how such a big resort has very little sunbeds? We got up at 5am one day to reserve the beds ( as everyone else was doing this )and they was already all reserved Some people Were leaving their towels on the bed for most of day without anyone returning Leaving people to sit on the floor. If you go across to another Hotel close by you can get a bed there but the pool doesn’t get cleaned there and the beds are mostly damaged. Scorpio is what makes this resort And the beautiful beaches But be careful when climbing down to the beach the steps are all broken and rottered

The room we had was nice and spacious. We had enough closet space and desk space where we could put our stuff. The bathroom was clean and everything looked good. The bed was a bit hard but it was okay for a week. The location is perfect because its close to the beach and the shops and the pools look great. We had a nice stay! Would recommend!

We spent 13 days in this hotel. The staff were friendly and always ready to help. Harris the bartender at the white rabbit made our stay more enjoyable by making delicious drinks. Top notch! The room exceeded our expectations, large with a fridge that works. The food was ok but the desserts - excellent. Comfortable sun beds. Lovely sea view from balcony of main restaurant. We also recommend pepper restuarant, the service as well as the food - great Neutral - No music during the day at the pools. Minus - all inclusive at the scorpio bar. Stay away, no respect for all inclusive people. Have I mentioned the best bartender Harris? He's a good guy Greetings Michal and Karolina

Overall I would not recommend this hotel! The location of the hotel is lovely, it's right next to the town and its not far from a few other towns (Malia, Agios Nicholas, Herekloin) which is easily accessible via bus which we wasn't aware of until 4 days into the holiday! On the first night the AC was leaking so bad we had to turn it off, we complained the following morning and someone looked at it immediately however broke it even more so it didn't work at all. The hotel offered to change rooms however was downgrading the room from a double bed and 2 single beds to a twin room with sofa beds altho these rooms looked more updated than what we had! We was however impressed with how quickly the staff acted on the complaint and in the end we settled for late check out as compensation. The room was very outdated, the doors looked like they was breaking, light was comming In through the wooden slates on the main door! When we arrived the fridge had a massive sticky mark going down the door and this remained the same all holiday! The room does not get cleaned daily! We had to go to reception to ask for toilet roll as the cleaners just didn't come and when they did come the sheets didn't get changed they just made the beds. The floors was never swept, and it didn't appear that the bathroom was cleaned. The food was very repetitive to the point we began to make jokes on guessing what was for each mealtime and we actually guessed correctly most days 🤣 I'm not a fussy eater so always found something to eat but most of the time it was either cold or you had to wait for them to put more out! When I used the syrup for my ice cream there was ants in the syrup! The day after the same thing happened so I complained. They did change all the syrups that evening after but it wasn't long before the become sticky and horrible too. There's hardly any sunbeds available around the pools and tbh it's very unlikely you will get one which catches the sun as most of the sunbeds are in the shade. When we booked this holiday it said there was entertainment, a rooftop pool, hot tubs etc however none of this was the case. The hot tubs was empty, the roof top bar and pool was closed and there was no entertainment. We strongly belive we was mis sold this holiday and it was falsely advertised! It advertised a private beach, there is a tiny stretch of beach opposite the hotel however you have to pay for sunbeds. You get a free 15 minute message which is lovely! You also get 1 meal at the Al la carte restaurant but the options there is very slim I think you can choose from 5 options. Food was OK but no better quality than the main restaurant. The staff was nice and saved this review from being completely terrible! They are all a credit to the hotel!

Only bartender Adri is the best, very polite and smart. Nothing else ..the room full of mosquitos, smoke..The worst hotel ever have been. The recepsionist unpolite, harsh , the beach with payment extra..dont go there if you don't want a nightmare.

I really liked the hotel. the rooms are comfortable and clean. The staff is very friendly. Of all the staff, I found Olga, the Barman Klearhos and the Groom Haris the most pleasant. I really enjoyed my time here and would recommend the Hotel..
