Hotel dekat Square Market, Lijiang

The location is very close to Sifang Street, a little up the mountain from the bar street, quiet in the bustling area, and the owner Zhu is very nice. The courtyard is clean and tidy, and the room is very clean. After staying for one night, we immediately extended our stay for the next few nights.

This time we took an old and a young person out and strolled to Sifang Square. We were lucky to meet Hongshe. Hongshe met all the needs of the three of us and was very cost-effective. First: clean and tidy. We stayed for a few nights and saw that the boss arranged a one-to-one change for each guest, which was great👍 Second: complete facilities, air conditioning, electric blankets, TV, Internet, and most importantly, hot water is hot enough. The temperature difference between morning and night in Lijiang is large. The most feared thing when taking the elderly and children out is catching a cold. There is no need to worry at Hongshe. Third: The duplex room is unique, which the child likes very much. She occupied the upper bunk early and jumped up and downstairs. Fourth: Convenient transportation. The elderly were tired and couldn't keep up with our pace. The location of Hongshe was very convenient for her to identify and go back to the room to rest. After resting, she went to the square downstairs to walk around. There was food and drink, so we didn't have to worry about it. Fifth: The boss is very nice. He solved all our problems very quickly and patiently. He helped us carry our luggage, got takeout for the elderly, called a taxi for us, extended the check-out time so that the elderly could rest more in the room, and the communication was very smooth. Sixth: There is a terrace at the door of the room, where you can sit and bask in the sun and overlook the ancient city, which is very comfortable. DO NOT HESSITATE AND JUST BOOK THIS INN WHEN YOU'RE VISITING LIJIANG!! HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND My friends and I decided to book this inn because we saw reviews saying the boss is friendly and helpful during their stay. Indeed the boss live up to the standards and surpassed our expectations! As the stone ground in Lijiang Ancient Town is not suitable to pull luggage, the boss arranged a transporter to help us carry in our 3 XL luggage and he also personally helped us with it. The boss is very welcoming and hospitable, and even assist us to arrange tour for Tiger Leaping Gorge and Yulong Snow Mountain. As we have to leave early morning for the tours, the boss prepared hard boiled eggs, apples and milk for us to take on the go. Although the property is very near a bar street, it wasn't too noisy at night. There is a convenient store right outside the alley to the property. Would definitely stay here again when I visit Lijiang in the future. This is a Singaporean approved hotel, thumbs up!!

The location was great, right in the heart of Lijiang Old Town. In order to protect the environment of the old town, no cars were allow. Therefore, before you reach the hotel, you must arrange with the hotel to pick you up from the entrance gate. Entering the old town, only luggage ride on the motor carriage, people walk. Walking from the North Entrance about 10mins to reach the hotel. The breakfast is simple. I have a few concern, 1) after 11pm there will be no light on the yard area, no one in the reception and the main door remain open. According to the staff, it is safe as CCTV around. 2) The place need some repairs and maintenance as the floor heater was too hot 3) The room cleanliness can be improve. 4) The 2 single bedded room a bit small, with our 2 big luggage on the floor not much space to walk. 5) Room shower heater not consistent . Plus point, If you are a dog lover. They have a friendly and welcoming house dog to greet you everyday. Basically, not for people who are particular with cleanliness and have high expectation.

The hotel is halfway up the mountain, you need to climb a flight of stairs. I received a one-way luggage transport and hired someone when I left, which cost 20 yuan. The room in the picture was not given to me. There was no round table and chairs, and it was less than 50 square meters, so it was quite small. It’s okay to play in the ancient city, but you have to walk more than 700 meters to get out of the ancient city. It’s about 2,000 meters above sea level, and it’s really tiring to go up and down the mountain. The bathroom is very cold, and the air conditioner in the room doesn't work in the bathroom, so it's not suitable for taking a shower at night. Figure 2-3 shows the view from the highest point.

This hotel located in the Lijiang Old Town, you have to take stairs to go upside its a bit tiring if you bring luggage but as a solo traveller like me I dont find any issue maybe if you bring luggage you can contact the owner to help you, he will be ready to assist you. As the room, I get upgraded room complete with humidifier, air conditioning, TV, hair dryer, towel, etc and here also provide self service washing maching and you can dry your cloth here. All of the room here have good view some.witness garden view, some mountain views depend on which room you book. Most importantly they provide free photography for you. So you dont have to go to Old Town to rent cloth because the view here already magnificent. Its instagrammable picture and you can save your budget here. I love everything here, the staff also very helpful and they provide great service for the guests. I will recommend this hotel to my friend if they come to Lijiang.

From the moment we stepped into the lobby we were greeted by our hostess 小苏 who treated us to tea. We told her where we planned to visit and she quickly arranged our tickets and rides. She is very efficient, reliable, courteous and friendly. All the other staff are also friendly and helpful. Our room is comfortable and has good amenities, including a heated toilet seat, and a humidifier. We have a small balcony with good view, from where we watched a beautiful sunrise over the old town. The breakfast room has a wide, commanding view of the town below. It melted our hearts. The Chinese breakfast was excellent and plentiful, and allowed us to skip lunch. When we left, 小苏 and one of the male staff with strong arms carried our luggage uphill (15 分钟）to the taxi stand and sat with us until our ride came. Business became friendship and we were deeply touched.

The room is spacious and the price/performance ratio is amazing. The sunrise, sunset and night view on Lion Rock are all beautiful, but the climb is a bit tiring. Young people rushed for the beautiful view! It is especially worth mentioning that the boss is super nice and enthusiastic. He will enthusiastically introduce the attractions, make tea for us, and try to make it convenient for us.

The host is very friendly and helpful giving us tips on how to effectively tour around Li Jiang. Service is excellent. The rooms are cozy and clean as the room service is very consistent. The location of inn is more or less convenient for us to travel around the ancient city. Everyone in the inn was very friendly too. It's like a home. Highly recommended.

This hotel was the best I could have has asked for, for my first trip without a guide in China and not being able to speak the language. Everything was spot on in terms of the hotel itself and the beautiful rooms and surrounding environment they offer. But what’s most impressive is the service of the staff/owner (not sure), they had helped me since before I arrived in Lijiang, offering car arrangements, room upgrades, and also finding a private tour for me and my friend group. When we arrived, he offered us snacks and also walked us to a local restaurant he recommended. Thank you!
