Hotels in Beimenpo, Lijiang

Reached Lijiang via Rail and took a 5rmb bus ride which I can buy the ticket before the railway station exit. It take about 40mins and alight at the North gate of the Lijiang Ancient town. Walked for about 10mins to reach the hotel. Very easy to find. It’s located right at the outer circumference of the ancient town, away from the pub music at night. The room is big, clean and comfortable. The receptionist is super friendly and helpful. I book tours with him and he will advise what tourists trap to avoid. There are a lot of food options just at the main road 10 meters away. Visited the Elephant Hill at 黑龙潭 park. Best location to see the sunrise of Yulong Mountains, best of all, it’s free if you reach there before 7am. Had a very nice tea session with the staff of the hotel. The tea is super nice and no hard selling of the tea products. We enjoyed chatting abt everything under the sun. Will definitely come back and stay here in future.

Right from the beginning they answered all my questions and we had breakfast included with airport pickup. They were always extending help and friendly. The only issue was the laundry which it’s not advisable if you have white clothes or clothes that can’t use dryer to dry. Staffs are kind helping to carry luggage and bringing hot milk to you every night. We got free fruits and snacks and even a cake and tea leaves before we left. Felt taken care of. The only thing was the wifi wasn’t good and there’s no full length mirror and fridge or hot water to drink. You can request to ask them to bring for u or keep in their fridge. Be careful of the free photography service offered. It’s not actually free and they took a lot of our time. Originally it was 3 hours but became 8 hours and we had to choose the picture on the spot. There is other places offering cheaper if price is not an issue you can consider it.

We had an unforgettable stay at Nell Hefengting Hotel, thanks to the outstanding service from Mo Chen. Even before we arrived, he was already assisting us and continued to go above and beyond until the moment we left. The hotel itself is spotless and very well-maintained. Our room was on the fourth floor, accessible by stairs, and it was clean, cozy, and comfortable. Mo Chen even carried our luggage up without hesitation. Anytime we had questions or needed assistance, he didn’t just reply to our messages—he would come up personally to help. His warmth and dedication were truly remarkable. The location of the hotel is incredibly convenient. We are from Singapore and were pleased to find that halal food options were available nearby, making it easy for us to enjoy our meals. The hotel is also close to all the main attractions in Lijiang, making it easy to explore the area on foot. After a long walk, we returned to the hotel, and my wife, who wasn’t feeling well, was coughing. Mo Chen noticed and offered to make us Pu’er tea, which was unlimited and such a thoughtful gesture. His service is simply unmatched. Mo Chen made our stay incredibly special, and he is one of our best memories of Lijiang. We would return to this hotel not only for its cleanliness and convenient location but also for the exceptional service he provided. Truly one-of-a-kind!

The location was good, can walk yo amcient city. Bus 101 stop was abt 15-20 min walk. just note, inn has a small stone street, which is not good for suitecase tyres. A bit hard to book taxi via didi app all the way to the inn . I asked the hotel staff help book taxi via my didi app, they ask me to key in the address myself. Overall the inn is reasonable, but I had to climb almost 3 stories everyday. Hard to bring bags up and down or climb up to room after a long day of hiking. Next time i would prefer a hotel with lift or room downstairs. Room was clean. Slight smell in the toilet on the first day, next two days I didnt notice any smell. Wifi was good. Bed was comfortable. Towel and bed sheet was clean..

It is a small hotel located in a good area where easy to access to Lijiang old town just only 5-8 minutes walking down there. The toilet got “bum gun or bidet spray “ I am sure Thai people really need it. Also, the hotel provided a washing machine on the top floor with free of charge ; I like it. Staffs are very helpful with care and special thanks to “大伟 “ (David ) he is so kind and always stand by for you to help. I would say his service is beyond the service compared to other hotel staffs If you are looking for a hotel that give you beyond the services , good locations … this hotel is recommended!

Hotel location is particularly good, there is a pick-up service, directly picked us up from the high-speed rail station, on the 3rd floor viewing platform can see the ancient city of Lijiang, the view is very good, the room is really artistic, the boss is particularly enthusiastic, and also made us coffee, the taste is very good, the service is really first class

This hotel provided a fantastic base for our exploration of Lijiang! The location couldn't be better, right next to the entrance of the Old Town, making it easy to immerse ourselves in the charm and beauty of this historic city. We were delighted to be upgraded to a better room category by the friendly owner. The room itself was spotless and offered lovely views overlooking the Old Town. What truly made our stay special was the owner's exceptional hospitality. He took the time to discuss our travel plans, offering insightful recommendations for places to visit and even guiding us through the booking process (with no affiliation, which was a pleasant surprise!). He even offered to drop us off at our chosen destination for free! Throughout our stay, he frequently checked in to see how our trip was progressing, which was a thoughtful touch. And to top it all off, after our 3-day stay, he offered us a complimentary ride to the airport! This level of service and generosity truly exceeded our expectations. If you're looking for a hotel in Lijiang with a perfect location, comfortable accommodations, and outstanding hospitality, look no further!

Before coming here, I saw that this homestay had no negative reviews on Ctrip. I haven't seen a hotel without negative reviews, so I wanted to take a look. I booked a total of 4 nights. Let's talk about the location of the hotel first. It's very good. It takes 7 or 8 minutes to walk to the inside of Lijiang Ancient Town. It takes about 20 yuan to take a taxi from Baisha Ancient Town to Shucheng Ancient Town. Let's talk about the price. The price is very beautiful. I booked 4 nights and spent a total of more than 600 yuan, which is only 160+ per night. This price can't be lower around the ancient city area. Let's talk about the hotel's housekeeper. The housekeeper is very enthusiastic, loves to chat, and will actively recommend tourist projects and tour guides. I reported a one-day tour of the snow mountain according to the recommendation, and the overall experience was good. Finally, let's talk about the facilities. The hotel is equipped with Xiaodu, the bed is more comfortable to sleep, there is a washing machine, the room has a smart toilet, air conditioning, and a projector. These are all highlights. This is my first time staying in a homestay. I have never stayed before. Let's talk about the areas I hope to improve. 1. There were ants in the wooden table of the sofa. I put a hamburger on the table. The next day, it was full of ants. 2. It is recommended to equip the bathroom with towel foot pads. 3. The plug of the smart toilet is located under the sink. The water splashed when washing your face will drip directly onto the plug along the sink. I think it is better to improve it to avoid short circuit. 4. The room will be cleaned only after telling the homestay administrator. It is useless to hang a ”please clean” sign at the door. It is not recommended to do this, because it will be very troublesome to ask for mineral water, take off shoes, and ask for toiletries every day. Just change it every day. In summary, this homestay experience is novel and satisfactory. It is not easy to provide such service at this price. If you are not too picky about homestays, this place can fully meet all your requirements. I wish Xinle will open better and better!

Being able to accurately book such a suitable inn during the peak tourist season is really a huge profit! The family room is just right for a family of four. It also provides a refrigerator and a microwave, which is so practical! Coffee is also provided, which is delicious. Being a bit more greedy, I think if there is yogurt and fruit, it would be a perfect match! You don’t need too much fruit, just 2-3 fruits in season are enough. The scenery outside this room is very beautiful, and sitting by the window is refreshing.

Facilities: The facilities are very complete, the equipment is very complete and new, the whole room is fully intelligent and very convenient to use. Environment: The environment is very good, with a beautiful small courtyard and plenty of sunshine. It is very comfortable to sit and drink tea in the early morning. Location: The location is very good, very close to the ancient city, right at the busiest north gate of the ancient city. You can reach the busiest place in the ancient city by crossing a street. Hygiene: The hygiene is very clean and tidy. You can see that the cleaning is very detailed and clean. Service: I would like to say something especially about the service: the boss is so enthusiastic, responsive to every request and answering every question. I arrived late that day, and the boss helped me with my luggage and parked the car. The next afternoon, the boss also sent us fruits and flower cakes, and made Yunnan Pu'er tea for us to drink. Thank you very much. This is the best homestay I have stayed in during my trip to Yunnan. I strongly recommend everyone to stay here and experience it. It is very trustworthy!
