Popular Lijiang 4-star Hotels

The room was spacious, but the advertised mountain view was mostly a street view, which was disappointing, especially since we paid extra for it. The location is convenient, being close to the old town, but the street noise was a downside—earplugs were even provided. If the app would allow me to upload a video, it would be a shock to how loud the noise was even at level 9 (the highest level at the hotel). There's only one lift, so going up and down during peak hours will be a nightmare. Additionally, the hotel could use better maintenance.

It was near a busy road so there was slow traffic before we reached the hotel. There are eateries and restaurants nearby and a bus stop 2 street away. We are able to view Jade Dragon on clear days even on 3rd floor. The room was a spacious, clean, comfortable bed. Basic amenities are provided in the room. What i like best is the laundry room free for use, especially helpful when we stayed for many days. It has a good spread of breakfast with good mix of local delicacies and western food.

I booked the Baima Light Luxury B&B for my family. My family said it was great. [Beyond expectations! Dayan Ancient City Treasure B&B under the snow-capped mountains] made me feel completely at ease when I was originally worried about the accommodation problem in the ancient city. The location of the B&B is unique - push open the wooden window, and the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain in the golden morning light jumps into your eyes; turn to the terrace, and the panoramic view of the ancient city with green tiles and flying eaves stretches like a picture scroll, truly realizing the dream landscape of ”open the window to see the snow-capped mountains, and meet the ancient city around the corner”. The guest room design perfectly combines Naxi style with modern light luxury. The ”panoramic room where my family stayed has a floor-to-ceiling window for viewing. The most surprising thing is to watch the sunset on the snow-capped mountains, and there are photographers who take photos for free. The housekeeper picks up the luggage and sends the coffee for viewing, which is very considerate”. The breakfast is delicious and the waiter is enthusiastic. I especially like the customized service of the B&B! The recommended ancient city cross-bridge rice noodles and the exclusive secret mushroom hot pot are all praised. The 24-hour on-call service makes visiting the ancient city completely burden-free. In the morning, I brewed a pot of Pu'er tea in the teahouse and watched the clouds roll by. In the afternoon, I read quietly in the flower room. My family said that this trip refreshed their understanding of homestays. It is not just a simple stay, but a real life in the scenery. When checking out, the housekeeper also gave me a hardcover Yunnan Dianhong, which became the most precious travel souvenir. I have collected it as a designated homestay for family travel! I strongly recommend it to travelers who want both poetry and distance and quality service. Here, every family member can find their own romance.

Hotel ls ideally located in old town, ideal for exploring it. Premises has well maintained garden, rooms are spacious and well kept. Breakfast buffet is nice. Front desk people are very welcoming and helpful, especially “ Xiaoyu “ she organized out trips to snow mountain and Lijiang romance theatre show, her brother even drive us to the show. she made our stay very comfortable, we highly recommend this hotel. We will return again .

Wonderful first time trip to Yunnan. The inn is clean and have all the amenities I need. The staff are very friendly and helpful, speedy assistance when I request for something. The breakfast mixian is yummy. The lady boss provides excellent service. She helped to book all my major transportation to n fro airport, visits to the snow mountain and musical play and even the purchase of tickets. She'll share info of where are the places worth going in Lijiang ancient city. The various shops I went, to take cultural costumes photo and purchase of silver accessories and to eat are recommended by her as well. She even helped me to book the mini tour for my shangri-la trip in between. You can basically ask her anything you need advise for travel in Yunnan. Very glad that I've chosen this place and I'll stay here again if I do come back to Lijiang.

This is excellent chinese traditional hotel for people who want to see the top of view of Lijiang old town. The hotel is beautiful and the amenities are high quality. The hotel is located a little bit on the mountain closed to large water wheel the landmark of Lijiang oldtown. The breakfast we had was special noodle yunnan food which was different than normal buffet we had in other hotel. Mostly of hotel staff can speak english well and warmly welcome especially from Mr.Jimmy. I’m very impressed that the hotel helped us took our luggage up to the hotel when we had a Jade Dragon Snow one day tour and sent us to railway station after checking out. I will be returning guest in the future for sure. Thanks for the experience and make me feel like I’m in the chinese movie who feel and touch the environment in the past.

Staying here is akin to basking in warm sunshine in the cold winter. From the moment we stepped into the grounds, the warm welcome and sincerity of staff members such as May, Daisy, Dada and Qing are keenly felt. The close proximity of the clean and well-maintained Bivou to quaint shops and flowing streams and ponds allowed us to maximise our time where we enjoyed tasty and unique Yunnan cuisine, culture and places of scenic beauty. The well-designed Bivou included an organic herb and vegetable grounds and the engaging in-house tours and activities such as nature journalling are very educational. The hotel and its practices are an eco-haven and it is wonderful to be surrounded by luscious sprawling nature. The food at Bivou cafe is wholesome and served with much dedication and care. We enjoyed our stay and the company of “Heimi”cat, “Corny” sheep, a goat and dogs that visited us. We will recommend The Bivou as our preferred hotel in Shuhe, Lijiang.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Anyin Private Courtyard. The heritage courtyard style architecture blends perfectly with the Lijiang Ancient Town setting, which was what we dearly wanted to experience. It has touches that makes the experience warm, and unforgettable. yet the hotel room was more than comfortable, and had all the modern amenities of a multiple star hotel. The location close to the main throughfare made access very convenient. But most of all, the service of the staff, especially that of young Xiao Fu was commendable. He fetched our luggage from the Didi taxi when we arrive at the entrance of the Ancient Town, gave us detailed map and listed recommendations for various food which was the highlight of our stay. Finally, one little highlight was the hot bowl of refreshing herbal soup that Xiao Fu would serve us as a night cap after our night out on the town. I would return to Anyin again to rekindle memories

BEST HOTEL EVER! If there’s a six start rating for the service, I’d give it. The staff in this hotel really went the extra mile for everything. The view of the hotel is the best I’ve had, not just in Lijiang, but comparing it all the hotels I’ve ever stayed. The view, service, and facilities of the hotel makes you want to just stay in. The service especially! I’d 100% recommend and stay here again if I visit Lijiang!

The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful, assisting with ticket arrangements for Yu Long Snow Mountain and providing insightful recommendations for exploring other attractions. They even go the extra mile by helping with luggage. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a perfect blend of convenience, comfort, and stunning views. It's an experience you won't want to miss!
